Yup, the son of fake son (Derek, who dies) gets to be king because he is, um, apparently next in line after the real son of the king (who dies in the horse-riding accident). The apothecary is saved by his mother and takes care of the son of Derek; son of Derek falls in love with apothecary but apothecary still in love with dead!Derek. (Or so I like to tell myself, heh.)

I loved grown-up Nicole! So manly! But he was so cute while chibi too. ♥ I'm glad he and Jed got their happy ending. :">
