I'm back from hiatus! In, and I quote, "a no-longer-on-official-hiatus-but-not-really-around-much way".

Some points that occured to me during hiatus:

01. You don't want to hear my thoughts on SuJu's Japanese version of U because I think it's awful. I don't care at all what they're doing in Japan, and I don't think they really do either, considering how unprepared everything seems.

02. midgardridge is fabulous and makes me weep with both joy and sadness, because I hate hate hate following works in progress because the waits for updates kill my soul. phasera and aconite are lucky I love them.

03. HEECHUL'S NEW HAIR IS FUCKING SO SO SO HOT HOT. Amen and goodnight.

04. Here is Greenwood live-action drama pilot episode = GOLD. I love this series. I own the manga, licensed, and the anime, licensed. And the anime, illegally ripped on tapes, and a scanlation of one volume. I love this series A LOT.

05. Heechul gender!switch fic. If it doesn't have you dying of laughter, I honestly don't know what's wrong with you and can offer no remedy except maybe more exposure to the crack of gay thirteen-member-boy-bands and their antics on Youtube.


06. G-Dragon's new tattoo is fucking hot and so appropriate and so him and god ilhsm. I already loved his first two tattoos (Vita Dolce and Moderate) but with this new addition. Mmmm. Leader-sshi, you are so my favorite.

07. I bought Sunshine by Robin McKinley and need to read it, but I did buy and read Shadows Return by Lynn Flewelling. :D I love a good fantasy book. Though now I'm all antsy over mistful's The Demon's Lexicon aksjdlfk. Of course there's still the completion of DDG and QoM to look forward to, score!

08.

This looks like a terrible movie, but it has Chinese boys breakdancing! I obviously want to see this, no matter how bad. Anyway, this lead to me searching Youtube for Jabbawockeez, not being that impressed, so I then went on to stare at Project Soul crew and Gambler crew. Mmm, Korea's bboy culture makes me happy. Though I have no idea how they still have high academic standards and turnouts - all their boys are skipping school to be hardcore dancers, and all the girls are skipping school to stalk their idols/protest at SM. Korea, where are all your students?

...possibly they are all writing gay boyband porn. Clearly that's what I did in school. (Though, to be fair, I'm not Korean.)

I'm still in the stage where I hate everything I write. I think I spend about 90% of my life in this stage. The other 10% is usually when I'm on MSN at 2am thinking I'm being ridiculously clever ohohoho. Because genius cannot be denied at two in the morning!


So I think eight is a good number to conclude on, as it is my favorite number~

In other news, 0sweet_tart0 has been visiting from Singapore and I loooooove her. ♥♥ It's been two years since I've seen her and she has to leave tomorrow! D: Why is my life so tragic?!

In a few days, I'll start thinking about how to whore for birthday fics. These things need warming up to, don't you know? ::practices in front of a mirror::

Also, I just finished Sunshine! I had it sitting on my desktop for forever and never got around to reading it until now. I really enjoyed it!

It made me think of you too, because I started poking around on her website to see if she was thinking about doing a sequel. Reading through her FAQs made me think "Even one of the writers I like and respect the most still has reservations about her ability. This has gotta be why Mei's always doubting despite how awesome she is."

Text tattoos are hot as long as they say cool things, and books are also hot. Mm, reading. It is a delicious pasttime.

I like people who doubt their writing, because I think it's human and, well, practical. People who don't think they need to get better, won't. My writing still makes me D: a lot though.

I've only just read Sunshine and liked it^___^ and I usually never read vampire books. I remember reading that one book she wrote The Blue Sword in middle grade and I had a crush on Corlath lol. I also started watching Full House a week or more ago and I think I read somewhere that you had started dl-ing it. I like how we unconsciously do these things at the same time.

I saw G-dragon's tattoo and it was lol. I wonder if he knows what it means. Or where it's from.

I think it was Eagles song dedicated to James Dean. It's kind of a... I'm-sorry-you're-dead thing. I just laughed because I imagine G-dragon when he is really old and not gangster anymore and still having that tattoo. Unless he plans to being gangster forever, in which case it will be forever suitably appropriate.

Have you noticed this surplus of vampire books lately? People seem to think that bitten in the neck by an super pasty undead person and having the blood drawn from you like an iv tube is romantic.

Someone on the BB comm is trying to tell me the tattoo is referencing some fashion designer. I loled a bit. Sometimes I hate people in fandom. In fact, just reading my flist makes me want to stab my eyes out--seriously, the crap that goes up in super_junior makes me want to grab people and shake them and ask, "Really? Really?! QUIT THAT." Idek, it's this sort of awful instinctive thing.

Vampires have been a kink to humankind forever. Though most of them haven't been as awful as Twilight.

07. Ahahahha fourth book. Um. Well. They are sold into slavery... I had a huge moment of "...no, are you serious?" over that, but I think it's a pretty good book. It left me wanting the next book anyway!

See, that's what I think when I hear about Korean students or Asian students in general, being all hardcore and amazing over in Asia. ;_; But fandom has ruined me with ELFs and all those breakdancing boys and all those idols (male and female) who just...leave school or pretend to attend some minor artsy college. Korea, such discrepancy!

Dancing is hot. I wish I could learn to pop & lock. :'(

You said it more out right than I did. Or maybe I'm just too sleepy at the moment. Anyway, I wholeheartedly agree. Their Japanese was heavily accented. The English rap was random. Some of the words just didn't fit right. The first time I read somewhere that SuJu is releasing a Japanese "U", I could only go "What? That soon?" Where are all the preparations? The whispering tension hail that spooked about the debut of SuJuM?

I...really have no other thoughts on the Japanese version of U, haha. I hate it. But the SuJu fan event in Japan was cute - especially because they sang their songs in Korean. :D
