Leaving early in the morning for STL. :D Once I arrive there, I'll be pretty much internet-less until the 25th (unless I try to live at Starbucks, sob), so I figured I'd get this post out now.

This is my official shameless whoring-for-my-birthday post, as inspired by aconite. :D

MAJOR UPSET. MAAAAAAAAJOOOOOR UPSET. Australia (in lane 5) was favored to win, even break her own world record. But China (in lane 4) kept up with her, almost head to head for the first 100, and both were above the green WR line. Then, in the last 100, the other China (lane 3) who'd looked like she'd faded came straight back up and all of a sudden Australia started to fade behind her own WR while both China's were ~half-a-body length ahead of the WR line and SMASHED IT. AND IT WAS A SERIOUS ONE-TWO UPSET. HOMG. a;ldkfjasdfhas *_____*
