사랑해, 大好き, 我爱你

I figure every so often, I should talk about my personal life because it is just that interesting. :)


★ This book makes me cry every time I read it. (I think this is kind of irrelevant, but I'm just sayin'.)

★ I got my LSAT score back, 167 out of a possible 180, which is apparently 95th percentile. I'm very relieved and apparently have crazy Asian standards because I still wish I'd done better, but my parents are happy. And hopefully law schools will be too!

★ I'm planning a graduation trip to China and Korea in May with thyme_hawthorne that's going to cost roughly $3000. And I'm paying for it, so this is me working 22 hours a week! I can do it, though. I don't mind work. It just means I'll probably be around less because I'll be perpetually tired from work and schoolwork and law school apps. Do let me know, however, if you know of any way of getting cheap international airfare. I can't find anything that costs less than $2000 that will take me from the US to China to Korea and back to the US. (And, god, are visas a pain in the ass. I never knew the work my parents went through for a vacation!)

★ I'm teaching myself Korean so I won't be totally illiterate come May! Any pointers in that direction would be greatly appreciated too. In the past three days, all I've mastered is the alphabet, haha. I will have to start on basic phrases and vocabulary next.

★ For Halloween, I am dressing up as a Korean boy band member, haha. There will be picture, because it amuses me a lot.

★ If anyone wants to send me some love, all I want for the rest of the year is this book. It's impossible to find in libraries because it has gay Caribbean pirates (no, seriously), and I can't afford to spend money on books for fun until...June. Aiya.

☆ In fandom news, I am still randomly crushing on Teukie, I can recognize Donghae's voice, Fandom_Wank's post on gay!Dumbledore entertains me so much, my favorite Korean boy is still G-Dragon, the new Naruto Shippuden OP and ED make me a little fangirly, Kibum is really fuckable, Koi no yamai ni tsukeru kusuri and Kuchibiru ni Amai Doku (sequel) by Koide Mieko are really, really cute BL mangas, and the latest issue of Shousetsu Bang*Bang is fantastic. ♥


Now I'm off to do homework before working the 1am closing shift. And then...do more homework. I'll, um, factor in sleep at some point, haha. Right. Please take care, flist, if I am not around much for awhile.
