they only love us when they're not busy hating us

Had a great time at the Caps FanFest yesterday with _la_belle_fille and celerywench and her little sister. Getting to watch the prospect dev camp final scrimmage was fun too but made me miss hockey so fucking much. Ugh, summer.

Slowly going out of my mind today. No sports. No news. No new fic. I can't make myself focus long enough to read a book or watch a movie.

So these are things I did today:

1. Watched basically all the Teen Wolf cast interviews on Youtube. Regrets? I have none. I've said it before and I'll say it again: THIS CAST IS A GIFT.

2. Watched a few One Direction videos, including a ten minute compilation of them basically groping each other. I have concluded that they're adorable and look 14 and my brain can't handle that.

3. Watched a gazillion videos of Jeff Skinner scoring goals and NHL playoff montages and basically got emotional whiplash and a severe case of missing hockey. WHY ISN'T IT HOCKEY SEASON YET?

4. Contemplated rewatching The Dark Knight so I could remember what the hell happened in preparation for the TDKR but couldn't focus long enough for it so that's pushed back to sometime later this week.

5. Watching Political Animals right now. So far, intriguing.
