happy september!

I keep seeing bits and pieces of various seasons of HIMYM, and maybe I should sit down and marathon it properly from beginning to end, but I'm up to date enough to have opinions! What ever stops us from having opinions?

This piece about the actress playing The Mother is a great read; she comes across really cool and down to earth and level-headed. I'm glad they didn't go with a well-known name for this. The comments are strangely unkind and patently superficial -- I guess I didn't know this show had so many fans so invested in the looks of the mother. I don't think she's the most gorgeous person ever, but I still think she's really pretty?

Anyway, the comments screaming about spoilers makes me lol. This info aired 3 months ago on the Season 8 finale, guys.

Unrelated, so excited for fall to come and with it all the fall foods and drinks and fashions and flavors. :D
