june 26, 2015: a more perfect union

You know, I was worried about moving to Texas (and, by god, there's still a lot to fight for), but I know today what I didn't yesterday: I am moving to a Texas where same-sex marriage is legal and that is a little more equal.

Thank you, Supreme Court. Thank you, everyone who fought the battle.

Other victories this week: take down the Confederate flag, Obamacare! And of course there are still endless tragedies, big and small, but we must celebrate our victories.
