I've successfully pulled off a super busy week last week with two back to back programs, plus various coordinating/emailing/arranging of other work, and watching hockey in between. Had a pretty restful weekend, thankfully, during which I read The Wicked King by Holly Black (last book in the trilogy not out until January 2020, alas) and got birthday drinks with a friend on Saturday night.

Did a campus visit to a high school Monday morning -- and will be doing one again today -- to promote our summer camp. Finally pulled off that Vietnam program last night that has been driving me crazy, but it went off fairly well overall. The audience reception was very positive, even if we personally felt like some logistical things could've been improved. A learning experience! The catered food was great and well received, which I'm happy about because Cafe TH is awesome. Gotta take Kevin to the restaurant proper someday; the food is even better fresh out of the kitchen.

Checked my to read list and I've done pretty well so far! Kevin will be visiting DC this weekend so between cleaning, H-mart, hockey, I'm hoping to read Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng and maybe tackle a fun ebook. We'll see.

We have a two week break before our next program, during which I will need to plan and pack for our China trip, finish my performance review, and play my part in our May 11 free festival day (games! food!). Life is so busy! Canes are somehow up 2-0 in the second round, ahh. Liverpool plays Barcelona in Champions League semis. Constant !!!.
