Her name is Wang Shu Ling (or Angela) and she is alskjfdls so pretty and poltie and funny and has great taste in SJ members by which I mean she loves Heechul. *__* ALSO WE ARE HAVING AN OFFICE-WIDE KARAOKE NIGHT ON FRIDAY, YEAH BITCHES. English and Chinese songs both. :)

Stuff about China (my roommate and fellow intern Katy): We are learning how to rap Jay Chou's 听妈妈的话. Lmao so hard oh god fuck you Jay Chou and your speedy mumbling. But we've got verse one and the chorus down!

and as for the whole kibum issue... i think that people aren't really thinking about how he feels about it // what's really going on (as in, he's most likely not sitting around on his ass doing nothing just because he doesn't want to be in a boyband anymore -__-). idk i actually think the rumors about him being in california are pretty believable, especially because a girl on omonatheydidnt said that one of her friends says that kibum broke his leg and is now attending his church in fullerton (southern california). IDEK. i haven't read your fic yet because i'm off to the gym right now before i lose motivation, but i'm excited to read it when i get back!

For all that Jay Chou supposedly has a young fanbase, his songs are really good, he writes his own lyrics/songs a lot of the times, and his titles/lyrics are crazy good. They're hard to understand because they reference a lot of Chinese culture/history in them and I'm so aalksjflsdk!! >:| about that sometimes, haha.

Mmm...yeah I hate omona generally and on principle, I'm sick of people bitching about Kibum, and I miss him crazy much but...whether he stays with SJ or not, I just want him to be happy again. That's my stance and I'm sticking to it. :) Ilhsm.

i know ;__; i used to get so annoyed when people would hate him for mumbling/singing and i was like WELL IT'S DAMN GOOD FOR MUMBLING! and his CELLO PLAYING ugh that really got me because i love guys that play instruments and i played cello too :Db i loved him so so much back then and i recently re-listened to a few of my favorite songs and i still get the same feeling when i listen ♥ (mind you, this is a good 5-6 years later!)

i actually like omntd a lot because it's a good source for news and i don't have to go into the hellpit that is soompi, but lately it's been taking a turn for the worse i think... and i totally agree with you; i just want kibum to be happy and actually smile and laugh like he used to again. i sort of get why people are bitching about him, but i feel like maybe the people doing so aren't people who have been fans for a long time (and have, you know, seen him around sj) and so they're used to him not being there, while older fans are? idk, just trying to rationalize because the post (or rather, the comments) in omntd about kibum's injury was really ridiculous to me >:|

Idk, I just follow the blogs they get their info from on my Google reader - or I wait for fandom to scream about something big and tell me what's important, lol.

Guys who can play instruments slay me. Anything really but orchestra instruments in particular, especiially strings.

I loved (almost) everything about the Demon's Lexicon.

1) The first chapter of characters new to a situation get the rundown of how things work in the world while letting the reader in on it too is always something that rubs at me but I can understand that sometimes that's how it gets done.

2) Mae still rubs me bad as well but I can ignore it.

But I am sitting here not so patiently waiting for the next one. I'm glad I have people on my flist that have read this!

Haha those are two things that rubbed me the wrong way too. Not enough to significantly lower my enjoyment of the book, but a little "eh". I'll definitely talk about it more in my review...whenever I get around to that. XD But yeah. I love that my flist loved Maya and now are giving Sarah's book the reader-base she deserves. ♥

Late, but I just picked up The Demon's Lexicon from the library and I'm def. psyched about reading it. 8)!
