So a while back, naninande made a mini-primer for the trashy MTV show Teen Wolf (locked, sorry, but here's Wiki), featuring a lot of shirtless guys. My interest was piqued (NOT PEAKED) and then, yesterday or so, I stumbled across fic in my boredom.

It's like taking only the Team Jacob aspect of Twilight, cranking up the pack dynamics to eleven, and adding slash everywhere. Well, there's het too! Surprisingly. But the main pairing in fandom is Derek (broody and often shirtless Alpha leader of the pack with a tragic past) and Stiles (human tagalong honorary member of the pack who can't shut up), because the main character of the show (Scott, the titular teen werewolf) is evidently boring and in a very boring and schmoopy relationship with his girlfriend (Allison, from a family of famed werewolf hunters). (Yes, this show is made of tropes.)

So I had a bit of a two-day affair with all the Derek/Stiles ever, and it is only a two-day affair because I think I've run out of fic that is even remotely grammatically-readable in that time. It is like Puck/Kurt all over again, except with less OOC songfic and more knotting and Alpha-Omega D/s porn. (Alas, neither of which are my kinks...) I actually just want lighthearted PG-13 or R-rated antics and plot.

I've never seen an episode of this show. Maybe I should, if only for all the shirtlessness and grabbiness and touching. Or just the Derek/Stiles.



Forget the chiseled marble statues: Stiles is the cutest.

i would honestly totally watch the show because it's HILARIOUS--like hilarious intentionally and unintentionally alskdjfsdf--except for when ...uh... the main character i forget his name... is having moments with allison, bc those are so awkward they can't even be accidentally funny. STILES IS GENUINELY SO HILARIOUS he deserves to be in a better show, the MC is pretty funny unintentionally and a POC HOW CUTE and ALSO JACKSON!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm really obsessed with jackson/his actor alksdjflasdf he is a total homo and also he has hilarious lines/has the CUTEST sub face ever around derek ehehe >:) also the token canon homo in the show is hot yes

I totally expected the big main pairing to be Derek/Scott, possibly Scott/Stiles, so the Derek/Stiles surprised me! But I do so love their scenes. I am also fond of the ladies! Because let's face it Allison and Lydia totally have their BAMF moments, with serious potential for more.

BUT SCOTT IS TOO SMITTEN WITH HIS TRUE LOVE. I think it's kind of one of those cases where the MC is too obviously romantically entangled that it's more interesting to pair up the side-characters. Like Here is Greenwood, for a totally obscure example...

Ah, well, once you're logged into LJ, go to "post entry" and then from the first drop-down menu, select the community you want to post to (the default is your journal). Then put your post in the entry box, and at the bottom, under the boxes where you can pick mood and music, there should be another drop-down menu that lets you pick the security status of the post: public, friends/members only, or private. (Except private is obviously not an option if you're posting to a comm.) it's essentially the same as if you wanted to post to your own journal and set security levels. I hope that helps!
