03. fuck my life
I'm safely in Beijing. I'll blog more about the flight, the arrival, and my thoughts on all such probably tomorrow. Right now I'm incredibly irritated to find that the Great Cockblock of China (also known as That Fucking Firewall) has extended to Blogger, rendering both my RL and my travel blog inaccessible and thus useless. I guess it's time to clean up my Dreamwidth and put it out there as the point of contact, but honestly, I'd rather have Wordpress. Too bad China will let you access the main Wordpress page without actually letting you access any of the blogs.
There are times, China, when I would really like to tell you to go fuck yourself. This is one of them.
Look, I'm understanding about the ridiculous H1N1 fear and anxiety, as well as the ensuing health inspections in airports. I think the entire country is paranoid and overreacting, but such is the Chinese hive mindset. I get that. I'm willing to accept it, despite coming from a totally different perspective. Oh, hey, that--that there is called open-mindedeness. Maybe try for some of that when it comes to blogs.
Fuck you, China. I was mostly going to talk about how much I loved Beijing in my blog, regardless. But now I'm just grumpy.
I'll figure out where I'm going to blog tomorrow (it's either here or trying to reopen that Sina blog I had last year...) and get Louise to make an official post for me. Until then, I'll just bitch about how Facebook is totally accessible, but not Blogger. I'd rather so much have one than the other. But I guess that puts me in the minority.
