01. Please give your name and how long you've been a fan of FujiRyo.

02. How did you start liking FujiRyo?
I loved Ryoma, I loved Fuji, and they were pretty together. Why yes, quite a number of my OTPs stem from the fact that I am superifcial.
03. Who are your four favourite characters?
Ryoma, Fuji, Atobe, (Shishido/Ootori/Gakuto/Kirihara/Eiji), KARUPIN. There we go.
04. What other pairings do you ship outside FujiRyo?
Oishi/Eiji, Shishido/Ootori, Oshitari/Gakuto, Sanada/Yukimura, randomRikkaimemberhere/Kirihara, Atobe/Jirou, Atobe/Ryoma, Tezuka/Fuji, Atobe/Tezuka, Momoshiro/Kaidou, Inui/Kaidou...okay, a lot.
05. Do you like Fuji or Ryoma more?
Ryoma, though barely. It's ridiculously hard to choose sometimes.
06. What do you like about Fuji?
His eyes, his brilliance, his sadism, his brother complex, his lack of taste buds, his smile, his talent, his soft-spoken ways, his possessiveness, his proclivity towards photography, and, oh yes, his prettiness. :D
07. What do you think Ryoma likes about Fuji?
His talent, his ability to be something Ryoma can't quite reach, can't quite touch or capture...and eventually, interest piqued, Ryoma will eventually find more to like, I'm sure. You have to consider that they're both in junior high (omgwtf typo) and both of them will grow as people (and Ryoma will finally go through puberty!) and what interests them/what they appreciate in another person will change as they do. Once Ryoma grows up some, he'll probably value Fuji's love for his family, though I can see them still clashing; both are strong-willed and stubborn. But I believe in compromise (and thus they will too ♥)!
08. What do you like about Ryoma?
Everything. I love his passion for tennis, his arrogance, his snark, oh my god, and his determination to be the best, to overcome his father. I love his lack of social skills and the fact that he hates stupid people but still cares (evidenced by the way he defends Sakuno against oh, everyone, and he shows them up and owns his opponents, basically, but he'll still help Sakuno with herstupid tennis, and encourage her backhandedly) and--God, Ryoma. I love how he hates losing, how he works so hard, how he is such a little brat sometimes (leave him alone, he is fucking twelve. What twelve-year-old do you know who's not a brat?) And I also love his collarbone, his gratuitous crotch shots, and his seiyuu. ;D
09. What do you think Fuji likes about Ryoma?
His drive. His passion. His stubbornness and strong will. His inherent talent. His reactions to being teased. XD It's hard to pinpoint the real things I think Fuji would like about Ryoma--there's a lot more than what fandom makes it out to be. Their relationship is not all about Fuji's amusement at teasing Ryoma and I will spork anyone who believes that. The reason they are my OTP is because there is so much more. They would compete and challenge each other and then something would change...I can imagine so many possible outcomes for their relationship and not all of them are happy (think Perfect World), but isn't it the same for any other pairing? Relationships really depend on each of the people involved and the development of either Fuji or Ryoma is left open to a lot of interpretation.
10. Who do you think Fuji should pair up with in doubles, other than Ryoma?
Actually, I'm not sure Fuji and Ryoma should ever pair up for doubles. It brings to mind the almost-miserable-failure that was the Ah-Un doubles pair, though Fuji might be able to adapt better than Momo did as he had doubles experience before. I guess I'd put Fuji with Eiji because, well, the Dream Pair doubles worked.
11. Why?
Oh, well, I sort of already answered that. Because Fuji and Eiji have that experience of playing together, of knowing how the other works and how to support each other; to cover the other's weaknesses and, well, everything that was said in canon during the Rokkaku arc. Though I suppose it depends on the opponents as well. (And Eiji belongs with Oishi, oh my fangirling Golden Pair heart.)
12. Who do you think Ryoma should pair up with in doubles, other than Fuji?
Hah. Ryoma in doubles? Ryoma doesn't play doubles.
13. Why?
Because he's a dominant singles player who's not good at sharing the court. He's good at adapting to his opponents playing style and strategy, but not used to supporting someone else or having someone else support him.
14. What do you think is Fuji’s class ranking?
Pretty bloody high up there. Maybe not in the top ten, but I'd say top twenty-five.
15. What do you think is Ryoma's class ranking?
Probably not as high as Fuji's because he's less interested in school and more interested in tennis. I can't see him being a complete idiot though, so I'd say within the top fifty or a hundred, depending on how many people are in his class.
16. What do you think Fuji got Ryoma for his birthday?
Seriously now? That takes away answers like "collar" and "handcuffs" and "hickeys." It also depends on which birthday. And how long they've been together. Why oh why don't these questions specify? ;_; First birthday after they get together? Fuji would probably give him something nice, memorable, but fairly generic--maybe some really outstanding tennis thing or a video game Ryoma's been wanting for awhile. Birthday after they've been together a good few years? Something more personal, that will mean more to him--something that by then Ryoma will have learned to appreciate like he wouldn't have when he was twelve. Maybe a photo album/scrapbook of pictures of them together, maybe something that will gained importance to them then. And by then they'll probably have managed to get to the point where joke gifts are funny and not just embarrassing like they would be in junior high or even high school--a ribbon for Karupin, pink (which Fuji would totally give tongue-in-cheek); fuzzy handcuffs (which Ryoma would receive with a raiseed challenging eyebrow, and smirk), sex toys in shapes of tennis rackets or balls (ow, my brain)? What it is matters not but Ryoma's reaction to them would be important. Shut up, yes, I think too much, but this is my first real opportunity to analyze my view of Thrill Pair versus what the fandom's been carelessly doing to them recently, now that they've become more mainstream.
17. What do you think Ryoma got Fuji for his birthday?
First birthday: tennis things or a roll of film, probably not anything stellar with Ryoma's lack of knowledge of photography. Later birthdays: better camera equipment now that he's learned from Fuji, cacti, sushi dishware, and/or a day together. Can you imagine that their lives wouldn't be hectic? They wouldn't be able to spend a lot of together and, for Fuji, a day with no one and nothing to worry about except Ryoma and pleasing him, would probably make him plenty happy. Or, alternatively, Ryoma organizing some sort of reunion with either the Seigaku regulars or Fuji's siblings if Fuji hasn't seen them in a long time. ::shrug:: I believe Ryoma can be thoughtful like that. Boy wonder will grow up.
18. If they go out on Christmas Eve, where do you think they should go?
A restaurant and then a park/place with a gorgeous view where much hand-holding and talking will ensue. And some snuggling and unwrapping of scarves to have warm kisses placed on warmer neck.
19. Why?
Fuji will want Ryoma to himself on Christmas Eve--they can spend some other holiday night in the Kawamura sushi-ya or a karaoke bar with a lot of other people.
20. When they're "alone" that night, someone suddenly intrudes! Who do you think that is?
Karupin. XD No, really. Who else would bother them? (This is assuming Nanjirou either does not know or already knows and has moved past his denial stage and doesn't care anymore, other than the frequent, raucous teasing.)
21. At that time, what do you think Fuji said? Do you think he sent the intruder away?
"Saa, Karupin, be a dear and close the door behind you, will you? I'm afraid I'm not sharing Ryoma tonight."

23. Everyone goes to the first temple visit of the New Year together! Do you think Fuji likes to go with Ryoma?
All of the Seigaku regulars going together? Rather than with their families? Well, okay, if we're working on that assumption, sure, Fuji likes going with Ryoma. Why wouldn't he? Whether or not they were dating, Fuji would prefer that all the regulars were there, if it was going to be a regulars-only outing.
24. When Fuji wants to make a monetary offering, he realizes that he doesn't have any small change on him. From who does he borrow money, and how much?
Unless he's in a Mood for teasing Ryoma, which I'm not sure he would be if it's New Year's, and depending on who's closest--Fuji would probably ask Tezuka because he's most likely to have small change to spare. Probably a couple hundred yen. Approximately five dollars worth, no more.
25. What is Fuji’s wish?
Something about Seigaku's chances in the nationals, Yuuta, possibly his father, and Ryoma.

He'd ask Momo first, probably, and then whoever was closest. Ryoma's not particularly discerning. He'd probably borrow no more than 100 yen because he frankly doesn't care that much and it's something easy to return.

Seigaku's tennis chances, defeatinghis father Tezuka Fuji, and other things about Fuji. I assume that if all of Seigaku is together, then it's till junior high, meaning that Fuji and Ryoma's relationship is relatively young and Ryoma wouldn't be entirely certain about it yet.
28. On Valentine's Day, how much candy did Fuji get?
A lot. Who doesn't love the tensai?
29. On Valentine's Day, how much candy did Ryoma get?
More than he ever wanted, but probably not as much as Fuji because he isn't social and polite and encouraging to fans. His are more likely to be outrageously decorated and sized, knowing Tomoka, though.
30. When they do sleepovers, do they sleep in the same bed?
In junior high? With the other regulars around, no. With just one over at the other's house? Yes. It's not uncommon in Japan anyway. In high school? Same. And I still hold out that they'll end up living together, with one bed, by university.
31. Who is your seme and uke between Fuji and Ryoma?
Fuji tops, Ryoma bottoms. They might switch occasionally, but mostly I still see Ryoma as uke--but he's a damned aggressive uke. Oh, you don't want to get me started on this topic. I hate girly!ukes. And Ryoma is snarky and belligerant and arrogant and will not spend his entire relationship with Fuji blushing and being tortured and teased. He tops from the bottom, this one, and Fuji likes it that way. Ryoma is a biter, fighting and fierce and feisty, and being bottom won't suddenly turn him into a wimpy little girl.

33. If Fuji and Ryoma played doubles against Shishido and Oohtori would their combination be strong? Weak?
Weak. They'd get in a couple of games, but the overall winner would definitely be Shishido and Ootori because, hello, they are in tune with each other (and not just because I believe they're destined for and sleeping with each other!). Fuji and Ryoma are, really, not doubles players. They could be half decent but they wouldn't have the rhythm and rightness that Shishido and Ootori could pull off.
34. How much do you think Fuji weighs?
The fuck? How should I know? Not that much--he's short andskinny slender, if slightly muscled.
35. How much do you think Ryoma weighs?
Less than Fuji. ::shrugs:: Don't fanbooks and/or profiles have these stats? I could look them up for you if you'd like...

A cat. Slinky-eyed and arrogant and in love with naps.

Hahahahahah. I'm not going to dignify this with a response. You tell me.

He'd probably carry it off smoothly but would be uncertain and a little awkward inside. Fuji has a lot of issues, the poor dear, brother complex only the beginning.
45. Which suits Ryoma more: "ore" or "boku"?

46. Do you prefer the smiling or the sadistic Fuji?
Smiling. Because Fuji is not all about the sadistic. Goddammit. His smiles are much more important because they reveal many more aspects of him--his sadistic streak, sure, but also the fact that he hides most of his real emotions behind that, humor or hurt or possessiveness or anger, and can also--well, sometimes he smiles for real. ♥
47. What/who should Ryoma cosplay?
Ritsuka. XD

Obviously Soubi then.

...Loveless, Soubi and Ritsuka.
50. Is their height difference ideal to you?
Yes. There's some but not a gigantic amount like Tezuka and Ryoma. I will now refrain from saying anything else about that pairing.
51. Right now, do you think their love is unrequited or not?
Right now? Like, canon-wise? I think they're not bloody interested. Okay, maybe interested, but not romantically. Not in anyone. They're in junior high, for crying out loud, and Ryoma is all about the tennis. He hasn't even gone through puberty, I doubt he has any interest ingirls dating.
52. Where would be a good place to be kissed by Ryoma?
The mouth is a good place to start. Unless you mean "place" as in "locale," and then I would say...wherever he wants to kiss. Would you turn him down?

Back. Ryoma's still tetchy about "real" hugs, but an embrace from the back when he's sometimes caught unaware...::sigh:: So cute.

Er...like what special way? With one of them upside down? No thanks, they can kiss any way they feel like it.

When Ryoma gets out of the bath, he's not bloody wearing anything. But he will then wrap a towel around his waist and once he gets into his room he will change into pajamas. I can't see him a bathrobe at all.

Nothing, bathrobe, pajamas. I don't know why I can picture Fuji in a bathrobe. If Ryoma ever put one on, it'd be Fuji's.

Yes. Why not? I certainly am not going to date someone and have him become important to me and call him by his family name. Which is why they usually refer to each other by first names in my fics; granted, I also don't write a lot of fic where they haven't been together for a good while, having earned the familiarity of referring to each other not only without honorifics but by given names.

Yes, I read and hunt for them rabidly. ^^.

Scanlation-wise? 10. Otherwise, none, because what money? I have none. I am a poor college student!

Their relationship is undefinable because no relationship can be defined by one adjective. Their relationship can be all of the above but, you know, mostly them. They'll make it work out by being them and by compromising a little and it won't be any one adjective.
77. When you first saw Fuji, did you think that he was interesting?
SO MUCH. SO MUCH INITIAL AND CONTINUED LOVE FOR FUJI. (I could write another seven hundred words about why I love Fuji but I will spare you all. Suffice to say that he is amazing, far beyond just his tensai status or his sadistci streak.)

Owned. So much pretty, wet, UST. Thrill Pair has been aptly named. Do you see how into it they are, how into each other? They are interested in each other, in challenging each other, and hello, there is so much potential. ♥ Only less coherent, probably.
79. In a practice match between Fuji and Ryoma, what would you expect to happen?
Smiles and determined eyes and a goddamned good fight. Who wins is not important.

Everyone on the regulars that he hadn't played and defeated in the anime. And then Fuji.

You have all been owned. And vindication. XD As my grand theory ofdelusion Fuji is that he plays tennis because it is something he is good at, not because it is something he particularly loves. Meaning he is much better than anyone thinks, even while being magnificient and awe-inducing. ♥

I could see Fuji manipulating the situation until Ryoma confessed too becaue Fuji is that magical.

Somewhere far, far away from the other regulars. Maybe after a game on the street courts.

Um, once, I think, but I don't remember it at all.
97. What is the longest time you've spent talking about FujiRyo?
Probably right now. This thing has been taking me at least two hours. Granted, I have been continuously distracted by Parents and Things That Need My Immediate Attention, OMG. Or maybe the Thrill Pair Revolution because then I'd spend a couple hours a night writing/reading/commenting for FujiRyo. Usually people don't want to listen to me ramble and usually I'm not very coherent or organized about it...
98. What's the greatest thing about FujiRyo?
Name by the great Konomi-sensei, Smash Hit 2 game. ♥ Plus? The characters in it. Can I resist Fuji or Ryoma? Alas, never. Best OTP ever, in my very biased opinion. ^__^.
99. Is there any other pairing you like about as much as you like FujiRyo?
Quite honestly? No. At least, not in the same way. I like SasuNaruSasu a whole freaking lot, and 1x2x1, and others, maybe about as much as I like FujiRyo. But not in the same way at all. It's pretty much impossible for me to compare.
100. One last question: What is FujiRyo to you?
My one true pairing for Tenipuri. ...it's Thrill Pair to me. There's nothing quite like it and I will never be able to fully explain it. But if you know me, you know how important it is to me. ♥

His drive. His passion. His stubbornness and strong will. His inherent talent. His reactions to being teased. XD It's hard to pinpoint the real things I think Fuji would like about Ryoma--there's a lot more than what fandom makes it out to be. Their relationship is not all about Fuji's amusement at teasing Ryoma and I will spork anyone who believes that. The reason they are my OTP is because there is so much more. They would compete and challenge each other and then something would change...I can imagine so many possible outcomes for their relationship and not all of them are happy (think Perfect World), but isn't it the same for any other pairing? Relationships really depend on each of the people involved and the development of either Fuji or Ryoma is left open to a lot of interpretation.
10. Who do you think Fuji should pair up with in doubles, other than Ryoma?
Actually, I'm not sure Fuji and Ryoma should ever pair up for doubles. It brings to mind the almost-miserable-failure that was the Ah-Un doubles pair, though Fuji might be able to adapt better than Momo did as he had doubles experience before. I guess I'd put Fuji with Eiji because, well, the Dream Pair doubles worked.

Oh, well, I sort of already answered that. Because Fuji and Eiji have that experience of playing together, of knowing how the other works and how to support each other; to cover the other's weaknesses and, well, everything that was said in canon during the Rokkaku arc. Though I suppose it depends on the opponents as well. (And Eiji belongs with Oishi, oh my fangirling Golden Pair heart.)

Hah. Ryoma in doubles? Ryoma doesn't play doubles.

Because he's a dominant singles player who's not good at sharing the court. He's good at adapting to his opponents playing style and strategy, but not used to supporting someone else or having someone else support him.

Pretty bloody high up there. Maybe not in the top ten, but I'd say top twenty-five.

Probably not as high as Fuji's because he's less interested in school and more interested in tennis. I can't see him being a complete idiot though, so I'd say within the top fifty or a hundred, depending on how many people are in his class.

Seriously now? That takes away answers like "collar" and "handcuffs" and "hickeys." It also depends on which birthday. And how long they've been together. Why oh why don't these questions specify? ;_; First birthday after they get together? Fuji would probably give him something nice, memorable, but fairly generic--maybe some really outstanding tennis thing or a video game Ryoma's been wanting for awhile. Birthday after they've been together a good few years? Something more personal, that will mean more to him--something that by then Ryoma will have learned to appreciate like he wouldn't have when he was twelve. Maybe a photo album/scrapbook of pictures of them together, maybe something that will gained importance to them then. And by then they'll probably have managed to get to the point where joke gifts are funny and not just embarrassing like they would be in junior high or even high school--a ribbon for Karupin, pink (which Fuji would totally give tongue-in-cheek); fuzzy handcuffs (which Ryoma would receive with a raiseed challenging eyebrow, and smirk), sex toys in shapes of tennis rackets or balls (ow, my brain)? What it is matters not but Ryoma's reaction to them would be important. Shut up, yes, I think too much, but this is my first real opportunity to analyze my view of Thrill Pair versus what the fandom's been carelessly doing to them recently, now that they've become more mainstream.
17. What do you think Ryoma got Fuji for his birthday?
First birthday: tennis things or a roll of film, probably not anything stellar with Ryoma's lack of knowledge of photography. Later birthdays: better camera equipment now that he's learned from Fuji, cacti, sushi dishware, and/or a day together. Can you imagine that their lives wouldn't be hectic? They wouldn't be able to spend a lot of together and, for Fuji, a day with no one and nothing to worry about except Ryoma and pleasing him, would probably make him plenty happy. Or, alternatively, Ryoma organizing some sort of reunion with either the Seigaku regulars or Fuji's siblings if Fuji hasn't seen them in a long time. ::shrug:: I believe Ryoma can be thoughtful like that. Boy wonder will grow up.
18. If they go out on Christmas Eve, where do you think they should go?
A restaurant and then a park/place with a gorgeous view where much hand-holding and talking will ensue. And some snuggling and unwrapping of scarves to have warm kisses placed on warmer neck.
