...and I have to say, I'm in complete opposition to your dismay over DGM. My response to Rhode's death was "...FINALLY!"
I think the arc is running too long really...plus they seem to have killed off Krory and Kanda.
I'm kinda ignoring Sauske until he regains his personality...I'm more fascinated by clearly driven off the edge Kabuto.

I thought the DGM arc was getting too long too, but I didn't think the best way to end it was by killing Rhode--then again I'm totally biased 'cause I like her. And I'm annoyed with Hoshino's gratuitous angst and total inability to kill off "good" guys. Krory & Kanda are totally not dead, I think, 'cause Kanda's fanbaseis too big. (Oh I hate her for Lenalee too akdjfld.)
But oh Sasuke, ilh even though I (and Naruto) liked him better with a personality. Kabuto has gotten very interesting though! :O
