thoughts The creativity and daring of this fic make me a little speechless. I could probably talk about it for paragraphs but I will condense to this: post-war fic, H/D smex, plot, and one of the most inconclusive yet promising (and utterly perfect) endings I've ever had the pleasure to encounter. Endings don't normally stick out in my memory unless they are a punch to the gut or spectacularly different from the other hundreds of fics I've read (especially for HP). This one was indeed spectacular.

thoughts From Luna's perspective, a lovely, lovely fic that has probably become one of my favorite H/D fics. Luna's voice is perfect, as is that of Harry and Draco's. I like the details about the wands and the quiet war Harry and Draco wage. And just--everything about it. I can't even flail, because it's just so lovely. (There's a reason it has 5 pages of comments! Perhaps they say better what I cannot.)

thoughts This is the singular best Greenwood fic I have ever read--because Shinobu could not be more perfect in how absolutely convoluted and complicated his strategic planning is. This is canon to me. There are not enough words to convey how happy this fic makes me.

It also doesn't skip over the smut, which makes me gleeful, but that's really not the point of the fic. I love seeing the friendship from Rudy's perspective, seeing the value he attaches to it like he does with little else, and see how far he will go for it. Oh, Rudy.
