RYOMA. Unquestionably. I'd resisted getting into the series for ages until a friend in China made me watch the first three episodes with her. I fell for Ryoma's snark and the rest was history. :D

02) The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Atobe. Or anyone from Hyoutei, really. But I distinctly recall wondering why everyone was so in love with Atobe when he was such a self-absorbed rich brat. Little did I know...!

03) The character everyone else loves that I don’t:
Kirihara. I just don't get it. Or any of Rikkai.

04) The character I love that everyone else hates:
...Ryoma? No, I'm not under the delusion that everyone hates him, but so many people do! I could also say Tomoka, I suppose. I think she's an awesome fangirl--others think she's horrifically annoying.

Um, probably that I don't get the Rikkai love at all. I'm kind of fond of Niou/Yagyuu and Yukimura/Sanada from a fic or dj perspective, but canon-wise, I don't get the Rikkai love at all. Especially when Rikkai fans are so hateful towards Seigaku. Granted, I'm tired of Seigaku winning every damn match ever, too, and I'd rather Hyoutei get more love, but...I like Seigaku. I'm confused!

Probably Harry. :) I was young back then and very canon-strict. It wasn't until I discovered fandom that I fell in love with Draco Malfoy.

Neville, probably. Or Fleur. Who could've imagined that they would have gone such lengths and become so awesome? (Or even Snape! I used to despise Snape. Fandom really did a number on me. Though I'm not sure I'm totally in love with canon!Snape so...)

Lily Evans/Potter. She is the paragon of virtue. She is a freaking goddess. I don't get what's so special about her, honestly. And I find it bizarre that she was the first person in the history of the wizarding kind to die for someone else. WTF.

I'm pretty sure every character I even remotely love has some sort of fanbase. :)

Blaise Zabini! Hee, or so fandom portrays him. Jason Isaacs. Um, yeah, let's stick with Blaise. I don't feel up to coming with a more thoughtful answer.

As much as I adore the twins, Maya's fics have made me realize what absolute horrors they were, and how very prejudiced the Weasleys can be. It made me love them a little less. And there was this HP Blame Game a few years back that brought up Molly vs. Sirius--reading the responses made me like both of them a little less. :/

01) The first character I fell in love with:
GOKUDERA! His silhouette showed up, my mind screamed "SASUKE" and then he was this crazy dynamite bomber who also fanboyed the 10th crazy amounts. I adore him so much. His tiny moments of angst and doubt make me love him even more. Plus, he's hot. God, some of those title pages make me stop for a minute just so I can stare and salivate.
02) The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Yamamoto. Seriously, he was such a laid-back, likable, average guy next door. He's the type I ignore while I fangirl over the crazy bastards, ya know? But holy crap, I am SO IN LOVE with Yamamoto. Just. There are no words. I like him this eensy bit more than Gokudera (and did I ever have an inner conflict with myself before admitting that), but fear not. He doesn't yet top my favorite character list. :D (Close, though. Soooo close.)

Er. Colonello? He's all right. I have nothing against him. I can't see myself rabid over him though.

...here it comes, Sin-chan. I--am not as head over heels for Hibari as I expected to be. Don't get me wrong; I fangirl him plenty. He's smirky and smug and violent and a total bastard. He's a loner who is hot, dark-haired, and unapologetically vicious. He sings the dumb school anthem, is a freaking prefect, etc. I love him plenty. I just--don't think I've seen him enough to love him as much as you and Mishy seem to. It's weird. I feel like he should be my favorite, considering my track record (y halo thar, Sasuke), but he doesn't have enough personality for me yet. .__. Sasuke was all full of rage and emoness and elitism when he was 12, all needy and making friends even when he tried pretending he was better than everyone. He was so adorably stupid. Erm. I don't think I have one. I'm pretty forthright with my opinions of the series--needs more UST, more humor, less gratuitous angst, more plot. Art is pretty, I like KuroFai, etc. Nothing surprising!

Ooh, JE. Okay, this is going to be predominantly KAT-TUN with a side-helping of Pi & Arashi. 'Cause that's all I really knew. *G*

01) The first character I fell in love with:
Kame. He & Jin were the first I could tell apart from the rest of KAT-TUN the first time I saw one of their performances.
02) The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Koki! Or Ohno! Both! Well, more Koki, I guess, especially when he had that hideous hair back then. I never knew he was so awesome.
03) The character everyone else loves that I don’t:
Pi. Honest-to-God. The closest I got to fangirling him was as KenKen in Stand Up!! and only because he was obssessed with trains and Sho-chan (aka Nino). He was cute in Nobuta but did nothing for my fangirly heart.
04) The character I love that everyone else hates:
...Kame? Okay, so everyone in JE has a screaming fanbase, but Kame's probably got more haters than any other member. So. Poor thing. He may or may not be a jackass, but he was still my first JE crush! And I like his hair.
05) The character I would shag anytime:
Jin. (I really want to say Sho of Arashi, but I wouldn't shag him anytime--only when he looks like he did in the "We Can Make It" PV.)

Er, Idk. Ohno? He looks like he has fun. And he always gets to joke around with the Utaban hosts, which I find hilarious. ♥

Erm. I don't keep up with them well enough to know who deserves a slap. Maybe some of their fangirls...

They are too deep and dark to be aired here. I have a love/hate relationship with JE fandom, because I have some good memories of it back when I was in it in 05/06, but then I had some very bad times with it which make me leave and generally avoid its fandom now--which makes seeing a good portion of my flist cave to its shiny lure hard and leave a somewhat bitter taste. :/

Misa! I remember when she first showed up in volume 3 or so: oh no, a girl! And a little goth wannabe. Gah! But, really, Misa is so awesome.

Mello. Of course, this could be because I never made it past volume 7. :/ It wasn't just L's death that made me bitter, it was the fact that the entire plot and themes changed! So I never got to know Mello, Near, Matt, etc. Or love 'em.

Er, maybe Misa again? I know most of my flist loves her, but I'm friends with the smart part of fandom! Heh. I know there's generally a lot of Misa hate in the wider DN fandom.

Oh god, none of them, please. Maybe Sayu. She grew up into a nice girl.

I'm saddened by the people who look down on those who stopped reading at chapter 58, because it's not our fault we didn't like the way the series was going! I actually wonder what percentage of DN fandom actually did that. ::ponders::
