I've been metaphorically chewed up and spat out in past week by endlesss rush events and schoolwork and actual work. I swear to God I'm never home anymore, much less have time for fandom. :(

I did catch up on Naruto chapters though! 367 made me really happy. Ohohoho, who didn't see that coming? Come on. Who was surprised by the Uchiha sibling showdown ending with Sasuke running away before anything happened? Not I, not I. It's too early for a showdown. We've got nine years to go, after all, and Naruto hasn't even found Sasuke yet.

I think Pain looks like Naruto all grown up and with funny dots on his nose (and crazy eyes). Did Kishimoto run out of new ways to draw people? Jiraiya's disguise was lollertastic, though his shop being Gama Bunta was awesome.

::sigh:: Oh Sasuke, come back. Silly Team Hebi, you are ruining all the dramatic suspense in this story...

I watched 2.5 seasons of QaF US this past month before school raped me and have concluded: Brian and Justin are OTP, while Michael is a whiny little twat.

And now I have exhausted my fannishness for a good week or two. ::dies:: Moments of Rapture stories up tomorrow though! Yay for some 1x2 I won't have time to read. :">

In the meantime, who's watching the US Open? And does anyone have any good tips on how to write an outstanding and professional résumé?

I'm so busy I only managed to watch one game of the US Open and it was some unranked Canadian guy against some Russian (Sadin?) who was ranked 25th. I wanted to see the big names! ::actually sort of gets tennis now lol::

Novak Djokovic is #3 seed, and he won his game tonight! \o/ So he's advanced for the first time to the fourth round of the US Open. Apparently he's risen from being ranked 97 to 3 in the past 2 years. ♥ He's from Serbia and only 20 years old.

Rafael Nadal is Spanish, #2 in the world, and has won the French Open three years straight, including earlier this year--preventing Federer from winning all four Grand Slam titles, hah. I mean, what. He's only 21 and he won his match today too.

Mini crash course because they are the few tennis players I pay any attention to, haha. ::fails::

I'm happy that Kishimoto has made the fact canon, but it's a little bit disappointing, as well. It was kind of... anticlimactic, I guess. I wonder what he's gonna do now that he's given the names? Also, I still want to know what the Uchiha clan's secret is >:F From that time Itachi sent Sasuke to the Uchiha's secret meeting place underneath a temple or something to find out what the sharingan's original use was.

I was expecting (just a little!) for Blake to lose against Santoro in the second round in the US Open because his record for winning the match in the fifth set was 0-9. Now it's 1-9 xD

It was rather anticlimacic...but at least it's canon now! I expect proper usage to be made of the info in fics. :3 Which I don't have time to read, sure, but maybe by the time I stop getting killed by RL, there will be more than one or two good Naruto fics in fandom...seriously, I swear I've read all the good SasuNaru already. Did people just quit writing them? :(

check the library for Resumes that Knock Em Dead. Wonderful book series, including its cover-letter companion, and really helped my resume end up really cool. Also will resume-beta for you if you'd like.

And the heroes fic kills me dead. i need my own copy of heroes, wifey, i shouldnt' have turned your discs down....*whimper* i wanna finish it!!! And when does season 2 start??

Heroes season 2 premeirs 9.25! Um...nbc.com has Heroes eps online, I think? They're all over the place. @_@ I'll ask Angela where she got the full episodes streamed for the broken eps on my DVDs...
