It spotlights my favorite dancing boys. Watch out for Teukie (LOOK HOW INTO IT TEUKIE IS. Oh Teukie, ilusm. It's ridiculous), Donghae (watch his belt as an indicator, holy shizz), and Hankyung in particular. God, they're yummy.

It's hilarious because Kangin totally ignores them, even when Teukie gets up close and personal while trying to brush away the confetti. So much doting! So much cute! So much--was that a kiss to the back of his neck on camera, Teukie? Probably not, but Kangin's expression right after is a little...:D Well. Then the bonus, oh my god the bonus is what drove this up from a 4 star rating to 5 stars. alskjfdlk TEUKIE, THAT'S OBSCENE. DO IT MOAR.

reaction: I just wanted to show off Hae some more. He is hot sex + amazing dancing + a great voice. Seriously, the boy can sing and rap well. Be awed by how well he does while subbing in for others! He is totally my favorite right behind Leeteuk alkdjfs. These are two of my favorite songs/performances by SuJu too, so it's awesome. (Favorite? Don't Don, absolutely.) ...so I'm rewatching this, and how hot is Kangin, good Lord? Oh fuck me, all of them. Gah! This entire performance is filthy hot, I can't even explain it. The groping of Kyuhyun during Dancing Out? alkjsdflsk somebody save me. .__.

reaction: Insanely hilarious. My favorite part is the phone calls to their friends--except that Teukie isn't in that. But the Goong mini-drama was hilarious too. And all their silly antics. They're adorable! Plus performances of Chutcha and Na Gateungeon Obneun Geongayo! So hot, hot, hot. This made me love SuJu T so much. (4 stars only because I was sad at the lack of...you know, other SuJu members.)

reaction: I adored the first few episodes. Actually, getting into it was a little hard because there was no action at first, but then I was completely won over by the little kids. Donghae is such a father-in-the-making. He's totally, totally adorable doting on the little kids. And Kangin & Teukie are both surprisingly good with their kids. After the kids, though, there was still so much love because KangTeuk team is gold. Teukie talks his way around everything, Kangin backs him up with brute force, and they abuse their power as hyung like crazy. It's hilarious and amazing and I love it. But...the later episodes were less fun. Spoilers: (highlight to read) I love Hannie, but after he replaced Kangin, the show kind of lost its sparkle for me. Actually, the show lost its sparkle for me when Teukie got switched to the other team. It made me :| like you have no idea. So you may still like the rest of the show, but I only love about the first five episodes.

reaction: THIS IS THE SHIT. I AM TELLING YOU. I have never laughed so hard--and it's educational too, I swear it! There is so much laughter in here because the boys are so retarded, but it's so funny, and it's so good to see them all (mostly all?) here. Their interaction is adorable and the MC rocks so hard. Also, Kangin is such an attention whore. ♥ Teukie is made of such fail. ♥ And Hae is about the Cutest Thing Alive, omg. ♥ Yesung makes me like him more (and more), which is a little shocking, and everyone is win in this. I can't pick a favorite episode--go watch them all! You will learn things about the human body!

I've seen the Taiwanese version of HanaKimi! Well, the first part of it. I loved it and it was hilarious. They're adorable. ♥

I refuse to watch the Japanese version on principle. Fandom ruined it for me.

The Hanakimi jdrama? Oh, man, no, I loathed that thing. As a drama all by itself, it probably would have been pretty cool, it had all the right elements for it. But as an adaptation of my favorite manga? I hated it. I hated it so much. I didn't like any of the casting (except maybe Horikita Maki as Mizuki, except that she played the character too seriously, there was so little of Mizuki's adorable cheerfulness), I hated the butchering of every single character, they kinda totally destroyed the plot/pacing, and alskdjfalskjdlsk they turned Akiha into a fucking girl. (They seemed to have created this weird combination of Akiha and Karasuma together? Wtf.)

And it was all everyone talked about for ages and it seemed like people thought it was an accurate adaptation and everyone loved it so much and it even seemed to move away from the Sano/Mizuki OTP (which was then doubled because everyone was so apeshit over Toma as Nakatsu) and it was such a bad adaptation. So! I have a lot of seething dislike for it that's probably both unfair and irrational. But I admit that I'm way over-protective of the manga and my favorite characters, so.

(I actually wound up liking the tw-drama better. For all that it was goofy and way over the top and I still don't like Ella's overacting and we don't speak of their version of Akiha, there were a lot of things they did right.)

Ahh, the last time I really talked to you about the jdrama was when it hadn't really come out, I think, and it was more speculation and fangirling over casting-- I did hear about Akiha being turned into a girl (which is horrifying and wrong in my totally biased opinion) and-- I'm sorry they ruined your favorite manga. D: It really deserves so much better than it got! ...at least it's still a fantastic manga. ♥


Ahaha, Becky, I want to tempt you so. There is so much in Super Junior to love. They are gay like Arashi, only with over double the members. Okay, no one can be quite as gay as Arashi, but they are gay in different ways! /insanity

No, it was because fandom decided that all things Japanese are inherently superior to all things Taiwanese and wouldn't shut up about it. The enormous amounts of bias fans had while talking about the drama turned me off from wanting to watch it for myself. I like the manga best anyway. :)

I see. I haven't watch the Taiwanese version, but I heard that it's more melodramatic. For the Japanese one...you just can't help but love the secondary guy. But I wouldn't want to read the manga mainly because I find the series too long for my taste. Though the guys in the Taiwanese version are a little bit handsome than the Japanese ones.

Aw, the manga is so good though! Admittedly long, yes, at 23 volumes but worth it in my opinion. Then again, I like long series...as long as they are complete, haha. Naruto is driving me insane because it's still going and going and going...
