Favourite Fic: Complementary (SuJu, KangTeuk, PG)
I love it best because it's KangTeuk in a realistic light, one that makes me happy for the platonic love. Honestly, I wrote it to address my own concerns and uncertainties over one of the most popular SuJu RPS pairings. I had to justify it to myself somehow. :/

Best Fic: Suspicions of Surety (SuJu, KangTeuk, PG-13)
I put a lot of time and research and planning into this, so I would venture to say it's probably the best fic I've written this year. I'm still a little unsure about the second half and the overall pacing, but I think it works. Hopefully.

Most Underappreciated Fic: Where the Air is Clearer (OKHC, Kyouya/Kaoru, PG)
I really like this fic. I like the hint of past, unrequited Kyouya->Tamaki and Kaoru->Hikaru, plus current Kyouya/Kaoru (ooh, generally underappreciated pairing). I like the slightly nostalgic feel to the piece and the repetition of themes. What can I say? I (occasionally) amaze myself. ;D

Most Fun Fic: I met Death and he has blue eyes (DN/PoT, Fuji/Light, PG)
Dude, best crossover ever. It was ridiculously fun. Band!AU and stalker!Fuji and hunted!Light and random bits of L/Ryoma and a Kyouya cameo. I adored writing this fic (but my favorite part was the Atobe cameo, heh). Truth or Dare (DN, gen, crack) and How to Manage Culture Shock (SuJu, Henry-centric/OT14, humor) were really fun to write, too. I guess this means I have the most fun writing crack, which seems appropriate, considering. I should write more crack!fic.

Sexiest Fic: The Life in Your Years (OKHC, Tamaki/Kyouya, NC-17)
Hello, gratuitous smut in a schoolgirl's skirt. Alternatively, Illusory (SuJu, KiHae, hard R) because, mmm, KiHae is delicious and there needs to be more of it in the world, please.

Fic that shifted my own perception of the characters: How to Manage Culture Shock (SuJu, Henry-centric/OT14, PG)
Henry was always a "real person" to me (random Canadian-Chinese boy with a FB) and this fic essentially fictionalized him like the others for me, so I could write him (and subject him to whatever whims I chose to) without feeling really weird or guilty. My world is the world of denial; it's lovely here.

Fic I'm Most Proud Of: Suspicions of Surety (SuJu, KangTeuk, PG-13)

Biggest Disappointment: Tired of His Dark Dominion (DGM, Lavi/Lavi, R)
I can't write DGM worth shit; I'm not very happy with the way Instrumental to Success (Gokusen 2, Hayato/Ryu, PG) or Discomfit (Legal Drug, Rikuo/Kazahaya, PG) turned out, either. Ugh. I'm sorry to the respective recipients.

Biggest Surprise: A Time Mistaken for Dawn (OKHC, Kyouya/Tamaki, PG)
It, er, wasn't supposed to turn out so angsty; it was just supposed to be a happy band!AU WTF.

Hardest Fic to Write: On That Christmas Morn (SuJu, KangTeuk, hard R)
The smut got me stuck, and so did the formatting, and the characterization too--yeah, you'd think it'd be Suspicions of Surety but that just took me a long time to write because it was so huge: it wasn't especially hard. The other one I had trouble with was A Neo-Romantic Illustration of High School BL Clichés because, god, I suck at longfic. I don't think I got a lot the clichés I wanted in that either and it just feels...unfinished. Augh. I don't even want to think about a sequel right now.

A Fic I Want Remembered: Suspicions of Surety (SuJu, KangTeuk, PG-13)
...it makes sense if I'm the most proud of it, right? ;D

Goals for Next Year: I would love to finish that movieverse KiHae fic that is progressing at a snail's pace, and often not at all... Other than that, I have no real goals. Maybe more crackfic? Possibly an actual more-than-a-drabble's-length fic for DBSK.

I actually feel like I really didn't write much last year, but that's probably just in comparison t0 2006 when I churned out endless PoT fics. D: It got harder after I moved out of Tenipuri fandom, I think, since I didn't know exactly where to move next.

Ahaha, the terror of multiple fandoms, I know it well. But gay Asian boy bands won me over easily, I think, because I've always had a weakness for boy bands. I started out my fangirling career with them. ♥
