Anyway, my thoughts on yaoi!

PAIRINGS I ADORE AND ACTIVELY SEEK OUT

Kangin/Leeteuk - OTP. Need I say more? (I should make my KT pimp post over Spring Break. Mm, yummy. Kangin is so freaking hot.) On second thought, I do have something to say: I like hot, sexy, funny, fluffy KT fics. I can do angst only rarely and only if it's very well written and doesn't ping my Pretentious Angst vibes.
Kibum/Donghae - My intro to Super Junior, it will always be the next closest thing to an OTP. Probably my biggest weakness and fondness outside of KT: I will search for it and glee over it. I wish there were more movie!verse fics, damn it. I wish there were more good fics for it, period. (Or smut fics. I will always be up for more well written sexy SuJu fics.)
Siwon/Heechul - Cinderella needs a prince. I think this pairing is super adorable. Take this icon or this gif for examples. ♥
Siwon/Hankyung - All the touchy-feely-ness and the exchange of Chinese? I'm all there. It's cute and hot at the same time and I like it. It seems to tend towards angst or at least quieter, sybmolism-laden fics, which I sort of understand, but I think they could use a good light-hearted, funny fic or two. You've seen how silly these two boys are, right?
Hankyung/Heechul - I adore their friendship above all else. My love for the bonds of their friendship might even overcome my love for Kangin and Leeteuk's unspoken, slightly-dysfunctional hyung/dongsaeng/best friend relationship IRL. Please don't force an answer out of me, though, haha. It'd be a close thing. Because I love their friendship dynamic so much, though, sometimes the romance doesn't sit right with me--but that's pretty rare.
Heechul/Donghae - I would give cookies and awards and possibly fic-bribes to someone who writes me a hot CinHae fic. Why are there so few CinHae fics in this world, dammit? Heechul's soft spot for Donghae is brilliant and adorable.
Siwon/Donghae - Again with the cute and hot in the same pairing. They are so into skinship, it's so cute.
OT14 - I love Henry and I love Henry with SuJu. I especially love it when it's cracked out, but I would totally be okay with a fourteen-person-orgy. Sadly, I don't think that's been written yet, haha.
Yunho/Jaejoong - In non-SuJu-dom, I totally adore the JaeHo/YunJae of course. Wish there were more good fic; volume != quality, sadly.


PAIRINGS I WILL READ HAPPILY IF IT'S RIGHT THERE

Siwon/Hankyung/Heechul - Not something I actively search out but something that makes me absolutely thrill when I find it writte right. I usually am more than happy to click on links featuring this OT3. Any of you who still remember me from my PoT days know how hard it was for me to truly like OT3s (and how the Power OT3 - freaking Tezuka - drove me up a wall because I was all about the FujiRyo); I have committment issues I translate over to the characters I read, I think. But I am totally, more-than-100% okay with ShiHanChul. ♥
Eunhyuk/Donghae - Another pairing I love but don't search out. They ping the prankster BFF vibe for me more than anything else, but if it's there, I'll click on the link and see what the writing's like. There are some fabulous ones (this, for instance) that I probably love more than some mediocre KangTeuk or whathaveyou.
Kyuhyun/Sungmin - Love it, love it best when written right. Love it crazy amounts in Cityverse. Wish it wasn't full of such crappy fics--which plays a part in why I don't really search it out. I will trust sapphira_angel for recs! (And will occasionally write it; I plan on more than just that one fic, I swear!)
Eunhyuk/Sungmin - I think it's one of the cutest things ever because they are almost as BFF as EunHae. I think I just don't have a tendency to search out fic with Hyuk though--I do adore him, but I don't adore him like I should. I don't actively fangirl him, which makes me kind of sad, because he's so awesome. I think I'm just easily distracted by the camera hogs who talk a lot (i.e., Teukie, Kangin, Heechul).
Donghae/Everyone - SO BEAUTIFUL. I fully support this pairing and glee every time I find fics featuring it. I think Hae would be the cutest slut ever. :D
Leeteuk/Everyone - Leader/everyone is a huge weakness of mine because I love Leeteuk and think everyone else should too.
Sungmin/Henry - Cute, cute, cute. I wish there were more. Mostly I get this in the background of other fics (see Apologia); I don't think I've seen a fic where this is the central pairing. It'd be so cute if handled well though (because the other part of me just sees it as Sungmin being the sweet kid he is, helping Henry adjust). I kind of want to write this a lot.
OT13 - I don't search for it because I think it's kind of an unstated, accepted belief, but the fics that handle this theme well make me incredibly happy.
Eunhyuk/Junsu - So I totally have this thing for BFF slash. Is it showing? Haha. This pairing gets me all aslkfjdl in happiness because they have retarded history together. It's so cute. (I avoid angst in this pairing like whoa.)
Yoochun/Junsu - It's cute and I like it and I see it a lot as secondary pairing in a JaeHo fic. It just doesn't get me super-obsessed though, to the point of searching for it. Plus, searching for DBSK fics in general is kind of terrifying. I have enough horrific experiences with JaeHo fics to want to expose myself to more searching for Yoosu fics.


PAIRINGS I WILL NORMALLY READ BUT CAN BE HIT-OR-MISS DEPENDING ON MY MOOD

Kangin/Heechul - I am incredibly shifty on this pairing. I usually think it's Full of Awesome, movie!verse and non, just because they both snark so much and have this intense dynamic going on all the time, but they have a kind of unspoken, inside-joke thing going on too. I think they understand each other surprisingly well. But there are times when the fic just gets my hackles up and I say, no, do not want. Probably those are the times when it's scraping my KT-OTP the wrong way. :(
Kibum/Heechul - I like the idea and some of the fics are lovely, but something about the dynamics don't always strike me the right way. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that these fics don't address Hankyung or Siwon's importance or relationship to Heechul (or to Kibum, either).
Siwon/Kibum - Can be excruciatingly hot (while cute at the same time). I fangirl Cityverse's like crazy, but it generally is a pairing I've been very skeptical about. It has to be done really well for me to not only buy it but to like it.
Yunho/Heechul - HoRella is a super hot concept and I like the cross-band part. I think I like best the ones with lots of jealousy, ohoho. I'm weird with this pairing, idek, especially since I know I tend towards JaeHo and ShiHanChul. But sometimes it just hits the spot.


PAIRINGS I NORMALLY DON'T READ BUT REALLY LIKE WHEN WRITTEN WELL

Shindong/Heechul - I don't know how to explain this one except Rokkugoh. Watch a performance or two...
Kibum/Leeteuk - I think I could whore Teukie out to anyone and find it hot, as long as it was written well enough.
Siwon/Ryeowook - Movie!verse only, sorry. But when it's movie!verse, it's amazing.
Hankyung/Kibum - There's a lot of hanging off each other in Full House, it's cute. But normally I see friendship waaaaay more than anything else; they both have much more USTish dynamics with other people.
Hankyung/Leeteuk - Okay...I don't know how to explain this one either. There were a few fics, you see...
OT3s other than ShiHanChul - Yeah, not my thing, generally. But there are always exceptions, like the Kangin/Heechul/Leeteuk by coyotescribbles.
Yoochun/Changmin - Normally not my cup of tea but the few odd fic makes it lovely.


PAIRINGS I HAVEN'T READ MUCH OF BUT THINK THE WORLD NEEDS MORE OF

Kyuhyun/Leeteuk - OMFG LEADER/MAGNAE PLEASE. PLEASE. Let this gif implore and persuade you asldkfjsl.
Leeteuk/Eunhyuk - Where's all the pre-/post-Sukira porn, you guys?
Heechul/Leeteuk - I have no idea what to call this but do you kind of spot a trend? I was serious when I said I'd totally whore Teukie out. I think this would be fascinating and hot and completely wonderful if only someone took the time to really flesh out their relationship, rather than just writing random porn. Not that I have anything against random porn, of course. Look, a gif!
Hankyung/Kyuhyun - Remember when Kyuhyun was recuperating at home? And Hankyung was also at home because of his visa problems? Let's fic about then! Or when Kyuhyun first joined and Hannie helped him learn how to fit in. This would be so cute, let's do it.
Leeteuk/Donghae - YOU KNOW IT WOULD BE SO HOT. My brain can't even wrap around how amazing this pairing would be. alskjfkdGUH. I want it so much.
Kangin/Eunhyuk - I am intrigued, because Kangin bullies Hyukkie so much. But it could work, somehow, and I want to see it done!
Hankyung/Sungmin - I can't even explain this one, sorry.
Kangin/Sungmin - So with all this talk about them not getting along, and things like that being counterpointed with things like this and other fanservicey skinship, I don't know what to think. Except that it would make an awesome fic.


PAIRINGS I REFUSE TO READ

...uh. Well, I have to admit the pairing I am probably least fond of at the moment is Yesung/Kibum, but I won't say I refuse to read those fics. I actually did read some, which is why I can tell you they are really not my thing. :/


Soooo...yeah. I have another fic rec post in the works, some ideas for a fic-meme thing, and am trying to write more Change!fic right now. Also, I totally deleted my iTunes folder today, so I cleared out my entire iTunes of music and playlists. I kind of facefaulted at that, but I'm going to take the opportunity to reorganize my music folders and stuff. Um. Putting all that music back in will be super fun. :D

Regarding Kangin/Hyukkie (which has been named YoungJae by some and I find the name alone hot...but probably mostly because of Bi's character in Full House XD), it's not a pairing I think of very often, but one fic in particular with that pairing remains one of my favourite fics of all Suju pairings, because it was that good. Story and porn!

i have yet to decide on a preferred pairing, much less an OTP from the suju fandom. with 78 possible combinations (i asked my mother to do the math for this one, because y'know, i'm all "oh dear, maths"), and 50% having some "canon" basis (those boys are sure touchy with one another :D:D), it's hard to choose.

kangteuk: i like seeing them together in fic (and on some level, i expect them to be together and when they're not, i get a "wait, what?" moment), but i haven't yet found a fic that i absolutely adore where it's completely focused on just them. they're much fun to watch in clips and concerts and etc, so perhaps i like them in "canon" better than fanon?

shindong/heechul: i don't ship them together, but man, them suppling the banter in fic is A++++

siwon/hankyung: i remember when i first got into the fandom, i was reading the members' profiles, and when i came across siwon's and how he practises his chinese with hankyung, the first thought i had was, "they are destined to be together. clearly. *___*"

siwon/hankyung/heechul: so i thought sihan was the best thing since, idk, sliced bread or something of the like, but everywhere i turn, it's all sichul or hanchul. and then it occurred to me, why not combine all three? the final verdict: there needs to be more sihanchul good!fic out there. :'(

heechul/leeteuk: that would be awesomely...awesome. i think this statement stems from their Goong T drama. XD;;

Kangin/Eunhyuk - I am intrigued, because Kangin bullies Hyukkie so much. But it could work, somehow, and I want to see it done!

I get where you're coming fromon this one. And I pretty much started that way, except I've always been a fandom/fic-centric type of fangirl, so I turned to fic after while--both reading and writing it. But their RL interactions alwaysmake me so happy. ♥

ShiHanChul is gorgeous and wonderful. Have you seen all the clips/interacions featuring HanChul and ShiChul though? Man, Heechul is such a whore (but in the most loving way possible~) and ShiHan is, yeah, pretty much cutest destined thing ever, hahah.

JAEHO! *sparkly* :3 I have a soft spot for them because they're a mommy/daddy pairing and also because they were the first pairing I learned about when I got into the DBSK fandom (except I only consistently read, like, one person's fics; oops).

I think the mommy/daddy factor is also partially why I like KangTeuk. XD My brain also decided that it really liked ShiHan, but I don't really come across too many fics with it (I remember this one (http://coyotescribbles.livejournal.com/16101.html#cutid1) really cemented the pairing for me). Besides that, any pairings are pretty arbitrary. Interestingly, I first got into SuJu through fandom and not their music/activities, so it wasn't until I saw EHB that I got to know/learn about them from a (sort of) real life perspective. ^^;;

Ahahaha, I used to stick with just a bunch of OTPs. Damn SuJu for ruining that for me. Now I break 'em up and stick 'em with different people with no qualms whatsoever. (But of course I have my favorites~)

alksjfldk DBSK fandom is scary and yet I venture into it occasionally in serach of good JaeHo fics. When the craving strikes me. :/ I don't know how successful I've been, honestly. (But I have a few to rec in a bit?)
