So out of curiosity, how exactly does one get into one of SBS/KBS/MBC/whatever performances? Any ideas? I should go ask this somewhere where more people care/know, like soompi, haha.


I WOULD LIKE TO RECORD MY OUTRAGE AT THE LACK OF STRIPPING!HAE ICONS. WHAT IS THIS BLASPHEMY? Are there none, really and truly? Not even gifs? Oh my life, it is so unbearably tragic.

Also, sadly, classes start up again tomorrow. I will have so much less time to fangirl and write and LJ. I suppose it will be healthier, maybe, unless I end up with no sleep again.

i heard they would be in beijing/shanghai around august/september for their asia tour and i seriously considered shelling out for the $2000 plane ticket just to go see their concert...but then i heard about how super show was sold out in under 15 minutes in korea; that's when i realized i wouldn't even have an inkling of a chance of getting a ticket. D:

Oh god, I wish I had the money to fly to China and get tickets but ugh omg, not rich enough to afford being a true fangirl! Or possibly I could afford it, if I starved myself and didn't drive, ever, and worked 40 hours a week. :/

It's really wishful thinking to get a concert ticket even if I am going to be in Korea in June. For a week. Um. But I like to dream, and maybe I can at least manage one of those TV performance things. Whatever they're called and however you get into them.

I don't think I'm ready to be an ELF. I haven't practiced screaming myself hoarse enough. :(

Yep, I'm going to China May 18-30 with thyme_hawthorne and then we're going to Seoul June 1-7. It'll be fun; we'll be totally lost. Both of us kind of fail completely at Korean, lol.

Well, three good things: 1) You can get by on English. Everyone there speaks moderate(i.e. bad, really really really bad) English, and they will try lots to impress you. And keep asking you to talk so that you will be impressed by their English. o.O

2) Even if you miss out on concerts, if you go into the shopping districts, they have live shows for the smaller groups--not SuJu, because there would be MOBS--and bigass televisions that show music and stuff.

3) Every shopping district has a little--sorta, not really--section devoted to purely fangirling. like bags and posters and buttons. One word of advice, remember the money conversion, but otherwise, go nuts.

1) That is very good news! I kind of hope we will be accosted by people who speak Heechul's brand of black-rapper-English.
2) Oh smaller groups! I probably won't recognize them! But I will do my best to squeal like the fangirl I am, take pictures, and possibly get autographs. I'm sure someone on the internet will be jealous, lol.
3) Money matters do make me sad but the shopping will make up for it somewhat.

I am excited about this trip even though there are a million ways in which it can go wrong and it will probably not end up the way I want it to but-- it will still be an experience. One I will be glad to have. :D

1. The only English Heechul knows at all is the kind of gangster/rapper language in the manner of "Hey! Yo man, WASSUP. Hey hey hey yo touch, man." If anyone actually went up to me with that kind of English, I would die a little in happiness/amusement.

3. uhh, we're still figuring out the details! Possibly a hotel! My family friends are hooking me up with a professor they know at Seoul University, and he's going to get girls our age to help out...? I don't know but it involves a lot of degrees of separation and effort and makes me ♥. (Unfortunately, Korea's still in school/exams when we show up in June...)

I want to use my "omg my spleen" icon at you but will Heechul's english just had to be showcased. :D
