WHY I LOVE KIHAE
aka Why I Think It Works

I actually haven't spent that much time analyzing and over-analyzing the relationship dynamics here, like I have with KangTeuk. I think I can pretty much say at first it was because of the movie (which was my introduction to SuJu fandom, so it will always hold the ultimate sway over my heart), and then it was because I saw how much Donghae made Kibum smile.

I love Kibum's smile. :) It's one of my favorite things in the world. That golden sunshine smile with those perfect teeth and, well, he doesn't smile it all that often anymore. He even commented on that himself in his Arirang monologue, which made me incredibly sad.

But Donghae makes him smile. Donghae is one of Kibum's favorite hyungs, the first one to welcome him to Korea, the one he used to follow around while he was so small (THOSE PICTURES! THEY'RE TERRIFYING IN HOW SMALL KIBUM USED TO BE). Even now, Donghae is the one who makes him laugh and makes him playful. Proof? Please see the Marry U fancams below. My favorite, favorite part in it is where Kibum has to break out of choreography and bring the back of his hand to his mouth to prevent himself from bursting out laughing in the middle of the performance. Because Donghae does that to him. I love it. Kibum needs to laugh more.

All the old gifs and videos make me want it even more. They make me love Donghae and love Kibum and love their interaction together. ♥

Winning the mutizen, Donghae cries after he thanks his dad. Kibum hugs him, because Kibum loves him. ;^;

On that one summer show with Siwon! The girl model is on a date with SW and he feeds her, so Donghae feels left out and starts feeding Kibum, lol. The favor is returned. Aren't they adorable? Yes, yes they are.

I love them.

They are so pretty and Donghae makes such weird facial expressions and Kibum laughs at him.

This is one of my favorite clips/KiHae moments because Kibum is so happy just holding Donghae, and Donghae's all *headbob* and "kay, whatever" like he's not really even thinking about being in Kibum's lap.

Randomly, Thailand fangirls are apparently the most epic KiHae fangirls ever. I find this totally funny for some reason.

This is a fan report from when DH and Siwon were in Thailand earlier this year filming a CF:

WATCH ALL OF THIS. It makes me so, so happy. Because Donghae makes Kibum laugh and be playful the way no one else can - and all on stage. The action really starts around 1:30 if you want to skip to that.

What did I say about Kibum being playful? He's amazing here, and it's. God. Yes. PLAYFUL!KIBUM. I LOVE SO HARD. And Hae being all put out, haha.

Do I need a convicing argument for why Donghae loves Kibum? Donghae loves everyone, true, but I really think Kibum may be his favorite dongsaeng, because he also sees him as a friend. It'll be up in one of my Hae translation things later, but in a letter to the members, Donghae mentions Kibum second (right after Siwon), and leaves him one of the longest messages. He cares because he wants to be not only a good hyung but also a good friend, and he wishes he could reach out more. He talks about feeling "apologetic" in the sense that he feels like he should try harder. I love you, Hae.

So this is less of a pairing thing and more of a I-love-their-friendship thing, but yeah. You want a reason for the ship? It's fucking hot. :( Seriously, guys. Other than KiHae, I'm not big on most Kibum pairings. I think he's a hot heterosexual player who can get any and every girl he wants. You've seen him on YSMM with Eunhyuk, right? Showing off just how he plays those girls to get what he wants. Goddamn, that's hot.

But KiHae. OTP! :D

1. Because it makes Kibum smile.
2. Because it's hot.

Yes yes yes KIHAE IS AMAZING. I totally wasn't paying that much attention to it during Full House (but I must've been watching out for it because I watched SJFH after I watched the movie, and the movie made me a KiHae shipper) but I think I should rewatch it. :D For SJFH always deserves a rewatch.

It's so true, Kibum is rarely playful and happy like that, especially recently. ;_; BUT HAE MAKES HIM SO. And that is why I love them being silly together. YOU WERE SLOW TO THE KIHAE GAME, MY FRIEND. SLOW. They were there welllll before the movie!! (ohmygod I swear there are some serious MOMENTS between them in the movie hfjshfls!!) YES, REWATCH, and see, and love :D (also, SEE THE CINHAE TOO. it is there, in some episodes. and it is awesome :D)

KIHAEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! My first OTP in SuJu and my favorite forever and ever.

I think I like them for the same reason you like them, that Hae makes Kibum laughs and smiles so much. That Marry U fancam had me grinning so wide my face was kind of hurt :) It's true that Kibum is more talkative and playful around Heechul, but with Donghae he's just PURE HAPPINESS :D :D I know that most younger members (esp. Siwon, Kyuhyun, and Kibum) loves Donghae so much they like to glomp him here and there and proclaiming their Hae!love to the world, but KiHae is just special, because IDK, I think Kibum is the one that Donghae treat not only as dongsaeng but also a best friend.

They're cute, they're hot, they're compatible with each other, they're pretty to look at, they have amazing dynamic with each other, they're just OTP OTP OTP X33333 *spazzes*

KiHae was my first OTP too, and they are always a huge weakness of mine. I am so biased towards how cute they are. :) ♥

Omg, you just made me love KiHae all over again. They are my OTP, it's funny cuz they became my OTP after I read The Best Days of Our Lives, which was focused on HanChul. For some reasons, I never shipped EunHae, even before I found out about KiHae. I love SJM, but there is no more KiHae, as if there were a lot before. I love how Hae can make Kibum smile and Haeppy. I have no more KiHae fics to read anymore. I've read every fics and drabbles of KiHae in the community, sad.

P.S- I thought you were going to write a sequel or some sorts about the high school au with Kibum's hot arms.

KiHae was my first OTP though I think KangTeuk is my only OTP right now, lol. I just have a gigantic bias for KiHae that I don't shut up about that all of my friends are sick of hearing.
