Korea Picspam: Part 01
Finally, Korea picspam! These are all the pictures from Korea that I took. When I get my China pictures from
thyme_hawthorne, I'll put those up too. Those will take so much longer, haha. I took far more pictures there.
SUNDAY JUNE 01

Big Bang's Baskin Robbins commercial on a giant screen at the entrance of Myeongdong shopping street. Saw it the first day in Korea and was totally delighted.
Most of my Sunday pictures are not with me, plus my camera was dying that day anyway, I think.
MONDAY June 02

Lunch! We went to a really cutesy little restaurant that served Western food because we both had a terrible craving for pasta. This is chile chicken. I picked out all the mushrooms to give to Michelle. ;(

Michelle had something alfredo. Both were delicious!

So later that day, we met up with
jaded_skys and she took us to where SuJu lives! Remember how I gave directions? Well this is the building.

The three of us had dinner~

I do so love Korean food. :D Especially the side dishes. Especially kimchi.

jaded_skys! ♥♥

SOJU.

Then Thea tooks us to noraebang. Holy crap, guys, it was all shiny and white and classy and amazing.

This is just the lobby...

Look at that giant screen! With the sunken seats and table! The ground we were walking on was all glass!

AND THEN WE TURNED AND THERE WERE GIANT ANIMAL SUITS HANGING ON THE WALL. For when you are struck with the (drunken) urge to dress up and dance to, idk, Candy by H.O.T. or Balloons by DBSK lolol.
Giant screen had iDance characters on it! I was amused.

Free ice cream! :)

Singing in Korean! Thea can do it; Michelle and I not so much, haha. We tried some English and Chinese though!

After noraebang, we went to Baskin Robbins. Hellooo Big Bang (and all those cute ice cream cakes).

We ordered ice cream fondue, which was prettier to look at than eat. It's because the ice cream was as hard as rocks. D:
TUESDAY June 03

We decided to go shopping today. In the subway station at Myeongdong, look what we saw! :D

Randomly wandering around downtown Seoul, this is the City Hall.

After wandering around, we got really tired and thirsty, so we stopped at a coffee shop (Korea has so many!) and got blueberry something and sweet potato macchiato.

Fangirl swag! This was my most embarrassing buy of the day: a SuJu letter holder. I don't know if I can ever use this without wanting to kill myself a little. But the shopkeeper was this youngish (twenties) guy who was so persistent in selling us stuff, especially once he established we were foreign lol.

The other side.

My Super Show poster! It came free with the Super Show CD, which I hadn't expected, and it made me all :D. I want free stuff all the time!

Keychains, a SuJu 2009/2010 calendar, Super Show CD, and SJM - Korean version. I...am a bad person, okay?

I really only bought that third copy of SJM because I wanted the free poster that came with it. ;_; It was so worth it.
Anyway, Michelle bought something even more useless and fangirly and amazing. Let me show you in a series:

one

two

three. Ta-da! It's a DBSK penlight. Who needs real light, right? Totally amazing.

So that night we wandered around to look for Sukira and passed this sign, and I had to take a picture because I'm easily amused. I wonder what the Elf is actually for.

Michelle taking a picture through the glass at Sukira.

Blurry pic of EunTeuk from Sukira. Honestly, the quality of most of my pics were like this, or worse. I was so disgruntled that night, you have no idea.

I had to get a picture of this middle schooler's hardcore camera. This is what we were dealing with at Sukira. Insane, isn't it?

From the broadcast screen at the front of the window; it was a lot clearer than actually seeing the boys, which is depressing.

More EunTeuk just sitting there, with Teukie's stupid hood pulled entirely across his face, stupid stupid stupid. Oh so bitter. :( I could hardly see him the entire night, I was so sad.

Boys with whatever guests were there that night.

This was when they left, coming out from the building in their van. All the fans had run to the side of the road to await them with Michelle and I following in bemusement. I managed to snap this picture as they drove by but my flash was on so, um, you can't see much. If you squint at the whitish blob inside the front window...yeah, that's Teukie, waving. Later, they rolled down their windows but they were too far away by then.
--
Sukira, Sukira, you are only worth it if you have a hi-zoom camera. We actually kind of figured out how to take better pictures and videos the next night, but that was the night they didn't broadcast because they were with SJM in another studio, haha. Oh, my life, so tragic.
