Like, I don't think you understand what a big fucking deal this is. This is a REALLY BIG FUCKING DEAL in China, because this is the one show that all Chinese people practically worldwide watch on LNY eve. It's not one of many new year's eve programs - it is the new year's eve program. It's the biggest TV program of the whole freaking year. It's kind of like the Super Bowl in the U.S., maybe, except with far fewer stupider ads and, well, football, and more singing and dancing and punny Chinese skits.
