well, that happened.

Things I have learned this week:

- browsing Etsy is an absolute time suck of OH GOD I WANT ALL THE THINGS. YES I TOTALLY NEED FIVE DIFFERENT EREADER CASES AND ABOUT TEN DIFFERENT PURSES. YES.
- for all the issues (yes many of them defensive and many of the stemming from my own identity crises /same old song and dance) I have with how lulztastic America suddenly finds PSY and Gangnam Style (maybe more meta another day), I love Britney and Ellen learning the dance from PSY mostly because I like Britney and Ellen
- AMERICANS CANNOT PRONOUNCE "GANGNAM" JFC IT'S RIGHT IN THE SONG. MULTIPLE TIMES.
- I have a reflexive hatred of people who talk just to hear their own voices, who aren't friendly and chatty but who just have a relentless need to make sure you hear their opinion and also know how witty/clever/different their opinion is
- if you go on Tumblr at work (our work doesn't care), and the guy next to you has a Tumblr and sees you on it, he's going to be like, "hey, I'm going to follow you!" and then you're going to be like, "oh jesus, I hope you like gay teenage werewovles..."
- if a fic summary has something like "get's" in it, you are better off not reading the fic at all
- I want scoooooooooooooooooooones. Scones with clotted cream and jam! Warm scones with tea!
