what if I now need a Qmi TSN AU?

So there's a weird moment when you realize a ton of the TSN fics you're reading have a Mark/Eduardo dynamic that is essentially the same as Qmi: Happy sunshine tall and attractive dude usually presumed gay plus the socially awkward blunt and kind of trolly computer geek that he loves and adores and takes care of.

Also weird: seeing Mark Zuckerburg on TV after you've started reading TSN fic. I don't know why it's weirder to me than kpop RPF or even hockey RPF. The lack of language barrier? The prominence in mainstream news? The daily use of Facebook? I mean, honestly, TSN fic is more like fic of fic, but even with that added degree of separation from reality, it throws me a lot more frequently.

Anyway! My entire body aches like I've been hit repeatedly with sticks. D: This is what happens when my body hates me, i.e., I don't sleep well. (Or I'm a terrible hockey player in another universe except all the pain echos through universes. Yes, I have been reading too many universe swap fics, why do you ask?) Hopefully I recover enough for Thursday night (Caps fan appreciation event!!) and Saturday (NHL GAMES YESSS also brunch with mimosas, yum).

celerywench and I got our tickets to the 2/02 Canes @ Flyers game in Philly! We'll get back dead tired on Sunday in time to watch - or fall asleep through - the Pens @ Caps game at noon and then the Super Bowl! Oh Pens @ Caps, congrats on scheduling your game right before the Super Bowl to better increase the chances of anyone caring. On the bright (?) side, the Redskins didn't get anywhere near the Super Bowl, so maybe there is incrementally less competition for attention.

I'm holding off on other games for now. We'll see how I feel about Caps games in a few weeks.
