I've read a ton of Merlin fic in the past few days and have come to the conclusion that while fandom is full of great fics and great authors from other fandoms migrating into fandom to write those great fics, it's also the fandom where I have had to use "?style=mine" the absolute most. Seriously, what the fuck, you guys. Merlin fandom is crazy in love with their customized journal/comment pages, and they love most of all not Expressive (which is at least readable) but tons of light-text on dark-background journal styles. MY EYES. HAVE PITY. I'm already going blind thanks to law school. :(

Speaking of which, I'm probably resuming hiatus or semi-hiatus now that classes are starting up on Monday. I already have three reading assignments for the first day of class, plus there's still job-hunting and scholarship-applying to do.

Randomly, I was downloading SJ Full House mp4s today and watched part of the first episode and nearly cried laughing, because awww, I forgot how hilarious that show was. I forgot how much I loved it, and them. Fondness. ♥ They really were so young back then though...

OKAY ONE LAST DESPERATE PLEA BEFORE I EXIT LJ: DOES ANYONE HAVE AN MP4 VERSION OF THE WONDER GIRLS' SO HOT MV? Or any performances? ;_; Please? I give up looking, maybe I just suck at this.

Can people really read white text on black background? Because people still keep on make the same mistakes and it still hurts my eyes. Maybe they are a mythical creature... to be slayed on next week's episode of Merlin! XD I kid, I kid. About the slaying at least.

My happiest icon is also one of the cutest ones, but I am also really biased towards that fat baby eating the puppy alskdjfd, haha.

I think I used to be able to read white text on black backgrounds but now it drives me crazy. They say the best for your eyes is actually black test on a light blue or gray bg, because white still tends to be very bright/blinding. But thank god for ?style=mine, either way. I like default comment pages. :D

i haven't read enough merlin fic to notice this trend, but when i'm too lazy to type in ?style=mine, i go to view>>page style>>no page style and that strips the page of all formatting. black, 12-pt font on white background, yay~ :Db i think there's a function for paid accounts to automatically view all entries as ?style=mine...?
