gratitude for you, bias for me

Thank you all for your sweet words. It really meant a lot because yesterday was one of the more terrible days I've had during this whole trip/summer. But today is looking much improved.

(01) Boy and I are striving to work things out.

(02) I got an email from a good guy friend (Korean)who tells me that his entire family in Southern Cali is watching their Korean TV - Star King, Family Outing included. And that everyone in his family including his grandfather now know the Sorry, Sorry dance. Hilarity.

(03) I double-checked my bank account and there's been no suspicious activity, so they should've only flagged me for my own activity which they deemd "irregular". I got put on hold for 20 minutes yesterday after which I had to hang up and leave, but hopefully I can get through today and clear up the issues.

(04) I made it onto my first-choice law journal! To explain briefly, every law school has a few law journals where students participate by writing scholarly articles on a topic of law, or commentary on a case, or things of that ilk. While it generally makes everyone on journal want to kill themselves, it is essential in looking good on a résumé - law firms and potential employers see it as a mark of achievement and strong writing skills. About 1/3 of the law school will be on one journal or another. There is a hellish weeklong write-on competition where we are given a case and topic to write about, 600 pages of cases to read, and a citations-checking exercise to test our mechanical skills. It was a pain in the ass to do immediately after finals, but eee. I can look forward to hating my life this fall! I'm on my first choice of Global Studies Law Review. :D

How much does that thrill my little Kihae heart? So much, so much. Fuu, one day...one day I will bribe or guilt or woo you into writing Kihae. The Kihae dynamic is so stupidly adorable (Hae: :D! Kibum: ...sigh) and oh god the sexual chemistry. I'm a fan.

(07) Speaking of ShiHan, I got tagged for this ShiHan virus thing and...What the hell, why would you tag me when you have people like...everyone else to tag? OTL How long has it been since I've written ShiHan? OH WELL PASSING ON TO TORIBB.

(08) Our office went out to karaoke last night - so impromptu on a Monday night! But it was a lot of fun, and I will put pictures on Facebook eventually. I love this office; they're all really sweet. And that went a long way to cheering me up last night too.

(09) Talking to my good friend (older and wiser and more experienced! because she is married!) Lynn last night helped a lot as well.

(10) All of you guys (particularly you, my little edible orange). Thank you so much, truly. Each little bit of encouragement went a long way, and it meant so much. ♥

alkjfs ugh there are a new crop of problems with Boy and I don't know what to do. I really think a lot of it has to do with distance so I hope being back in the U.S. will fix things. If not, then this relationship isn't really going anywhere. :/
