I'm finished with all of my exams! I am officially halfway through with this whole law school business and pretty thrilled about it if I don't think too hard about the remaining 1.5 years, haha. To celebrate wrapping things up, I'm going to clean my apartment. Omg, you have no idea how awesome this will be. I love cleaning, okay? It produces instant, visible results, and I am all about that. Ahh the scent of chemicals in the air...

I am also writing, hurray! None of you care but I'm going to talk about it anyway, it's how I roll. That stupid corporate AU inspired by the Sorry Sorry Answer MV has grown to ridiculous proportions. Longfic proportions! It's like my muse is trying to turn me into black_goose and I'm all: Are you kidding? I'm not insane like she is! I can't juggle 20+ longfic WsIP! I am too ADD for that! Sadly, this fic is >15,000 and going strong. It requires so, so much editing once I'm done with it though, oh my god. I also refuse to post it before it's done. But I also want to post it before the year's out. In conclusion: I will be writing like a crazy person for a while, and now that finals are over, I should finally have the time! Which, naturally, means that I will lose all motivation...

Also working on some other things and have to sort out what I'm packing to take home with me on Saturday, because I actually have to do work over break. But I will be at home, and well-fed! I will see people, and also movies! That significantly improves life by a factor of 10.

Repimping the time capsule meme because...hoyah did it? I basically live in a cave re: fandom, okay? I'm staying in my corner over here waving my personal flags and being ignorant of everything else.

Um, in conclusion, this is a boring post. I have a much more fangirly one planned for tomorrow ahaha. This is why I usually don't include life updates here, none of you care. XD I have a separate journal for that.

I have all these depressing meta thoughts about how my writing is so ill-suited to longfic because I can only wrap my mind around writing short scenes with impact instead of anything with subtlety or development, sob. /writes one-shots for the rest of her life

String the short scenes with impact together with a series of filler scenes? You can work on your subtlety there, and then rework the short scenes for development later. I mean, as long as you have a plot it should work out okay, since you're fundamentally a strong writer anyway.
