I wake up, and kpop fandom is in panic again. Uh...here are my two cents:

DEAR KPOP FANDOM,

STOP PANICKING.

IT WILL BE OKAY NO MATTER WHAT.

No, really. Have a little faith. ♥

You know why? Because even though I will be really, really sad if Geng leaves SJ - there is no proof that's what he's doing. People just like to sensationalise things because it's how the media works. And, uh, you know how I've been saying for ages that I'd support Kibum even if he left SJ? Yeah, the same holds true for Geng, who has even more potential for success because he has an entire country backing him and loving every little thing he does.

Not that he's leaving. But it's just a thought. I love SJ so hard, but my love doesn't extend to them only when they're together. So here's to not panicking, waiting to hear real news from reliable sources, and just trusting in Geng and the rest, and supporting them no matter what. Besides, Geng has always been a conscientious, considerate person - I can't imagine he'd turn around and just stab SJ in the back. I can fully understand that he wants more leeway to do solo works though. Lawsuits don't have to be ugly things - they just sound ugly and have ugly connotations, and so the frenzy is stirred up from everyone.

I'm going to wait for more news. I think it'll be okay. Make like Kyuhyun and play 'Believe'. Have some faith that it'll be okay. What will our panicking do other than to make us miserable, anyway?

ETA: Take a deep breath, guys. Let it out. Fans blowing things out of proportion is half the reason things got so ridiculous.

ETA 2: This is my stance on the whole issue, and I have nothing else to say about it. Imma just do my shit now, yeah? Until final word comes through. No more discussion or dwelling on the subject.

I love the boys, all fifteen of them. I love them whether they are in a boy band or not. I love them for their love for each other, so I want most for their relationships with each other to be okay after all of this mess. That is more important to me than how the contract or legal issues work out. Every one of them is human and fallible, susceptible to hurt and prone to mistakes, and every one of them has my support. In the end, I just want all fifteen of them to be happy and to love each other.

The other shit pales in comparison.

Yeah, until I hear some conformation from SM or from Geng himself, I believe nothing. I cannot see why he would leave though; SJM is huge, SuJu is huge, there's been no news of discontent or previous legal action, he's making enough money to donate all over the place and buy his parents dumpling shops... I just can't see why he'd just flat up leave right now, you know.

Of course I'll love him no matter what happens or where he is, and that goes for every single one of those boys. What matters most to me is their happiness, not their marketability or popularity. He could go off and become a monk and I'd respect that, as long as he's happy and healthy. ♥

Well, by faith, I don't really mean he's going to choose to be with SJ forever. He obviously really wants to do solo work in China. But I have faith that he's not doing it maliciously, deliberately to break up SJ or cause drama or anything, and that he still loves the members. Idk, I'd still support him if he went off on his own. And the other boys. I just...am not that worked up about it either? ;__;

I love my corner. :D It's normal to get worked up and panicked but, in the end, what does that actually accomplish? Might as well just wait for official news and do happy things in the meantime. And even if worst case scenario comes to pass and Geng wants to quit SME (and they allow it which, lol, no, he is too valuable an asset)...what can we do about it? Anyway, doubt it'd come to that. People should stop having hysterics and I'm done thinking about it, haha.

i'm late to teh party, as usual .__. uhm but yeah, i agree with everything you said, and i'm glad i'm not the only one thinking it. I do not see why Geng would just up and leave SJ, it makes no sense. I see all these people running around going OMG THIS IS THE END OF SUJU OMAGAWD and i want to stab them in the face :| calm down people srsly. And then there's the people who think he is doing it so he can earn more money..... i do not understand why they would think this. This is Hankyung, the guy who gives all his money to charity, wtf. Everyone is all hyped up on this word "terminate" and it doesn't say that, it says "re-evaluate." Correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't that mean, yes, he wants to terminate the contract he has but have another one that is more to his liking drawn up? WHY WOULD HE LEAVE, HE ISN'T THE BACKSTABBING TYPE. CALM DOWN YOU CRAZY ELFS :|

He's my favorite from SJ, but if leaving SJ will make him a better as a performer/ artis /person, I'm all for it. :P Granted, am not really a big fan but I love their variety shows to bits, even though I hardly spaz about them (I should rectify that.)

See... I sit down, all ready to break my LJ hiatus because everything family-wise and school-wise has calmed down... and this happens.

Well, no matter what, I'm on Han Geng's side. SME's shown in the past how much of a dog company it was and it still hasn't changed. Han Geng has too much potential and he's too damn great to be chained up by them. They need to fix everyone's contracts.

Then there's Zhou Mi's wording choice that now has the world's largest country plus E.L.F. ready to kill him or ruin him, whatever comes first... like they've never had their mouths move faster than their brains and word shit wrong.

EHB time, I need some happy shit.

I should probably update my status on all of this. Basically, it goes:

Also, netizens/fans need to step the fuck down and move on with their lives. They're not helping anything by aggrandizing and sensationalizing the whole situation, and all the panic and anger in the world won't fix anything.

So that's my opinion on the whole matter. Imma just keep loving them and waiting to hear how things work out, and do my own shit in the meantime. :)
