• So it looks like Han Geng is leaving SJ no matter how the lawsuit turns out. No Geng bashing in this post, please. If you're curious about my thoughts, just ask; otherwise, I don't really feel the need to soapbox my opinions.


• Donghae is a gorgeous thing both inside and out.


• I will continue to write them as I do, whenever I am inspired (i.e., not that often recently). It's all fictionalized accounts in my head anyway.


• SNSD's story version of the Run Devil Run MV: It's a thin story but I'm always a fan of more bitchy!SNSD. :D I like 'em fierce.

• Just came back from the most amazing weekend in NYC with swingingstars and suxing who are, respectively, my little sister and my favorite kouhai. ♥ Expect pics and stories later; right now I am busy drowning in piles of work. ;__;


• Brief summary: We had so much fun doing silly things, being touristy, camwhoring in inappropriate places, joking about everything, eating so many delicious things, singing karaoke in four languages, getting tipsy, talking about celebrity crushes, hitting on cute waiters, getting drenched in horizontal rain at midnight, sharing our fears and thoughts about families and futures, and basically making the most incredible memories ever. We all failed spectacularly at least once during the trip but it was more than made up for the fact that we are all super-awesome. :) I ♥ my girls.


• One thing among many we did was watch A Single Man, which was actually very moving: artistic without being pretentious, sad but hopeful, and generally just very good. I suppose I have a thing for introspection that isn't heavy-handed; one of the things that stood out in particular for me was the very tangible emotion you could feel between Colin Firth's character and Matthew Goode's character whenever they were on screen together. In a (not-so-sophisticated) word: achey. I also didn't have the mad fangirl crush suxing and swingingstars had on Matthew Goode or Nicholas Hoult (since I...didn't know who they were...), but they were easy on the eyes, for sure. :3 So that's a bonus.


• And hey, all y'all in Singapore (forochel, catskilt, thundersquall, others?), I got into my exchange program at NUS for Spring 2011! Who will be there? I can't believe I'm going to miss some of you. ;~;

And now back to work. At least we have gorgeous weather to buoy my mood~

Yeah, it was just Geng's lawsuit. The rest was all rumor. I hadn't really thought hard enough about it to think that he'd leave SJ but I guess it was inevitable with the contract dispute; the point is that he wants the freedom to do solo stuff, I guess? It just seems so unfair to him in particular because Heechul and Kibum are allowed so much leeway in terms of solo activities... Strange how they would pick on Geng. :(

Ah well, I just want them all to be happy and healthy. ♥

Omg, NYC was so fun but I am so exhausted. And so much work awaits me, wahh.

SM can't honestly expect to keep the boy after all that. Discrimination, cockblocking him from potential work and the ability to put him out there more, messing with his money and his family and his HEALTH?!?! They treated him like a damn dog and I'm not pleased. I'm happy he got out and I support his decision esp. considering he looks healthier and happier now. JIA YOU HAN GENG!!

Well damn... that shirt is just filled to burstin... Donghae is bout to bust right out of it! But he looks SO GOOD!! :D

Yeah I had no idea it was so bad - and just for him. Though I did wonder why Ariel Lin's MV featured two Korean boys instead of, you know, Geng, who is actually Chinese. (Not that I'm complaining too hard because I love that MV and Donghae is the most perfect boyfriend ever.) But I definitely support Geng too and I just want them all to be happy and healthy.

Unf, Donghae is so attractive. He totally needs to lose the wifebeater though. ;)

omg that film was BEAUTIFUL. the way they did the colouring, the way it was really desaturated and then they turned it up so that it was almost hard to look at it. I loved that.

also, lol, at about the point that the male prostitute turned up, I turned to my friend, and she just whispered, completely in awe, "why is everyone in this film so beautiful?"

YES, it really really was. For some reason (I blame law school), I hadn't even heard of that film until I went up to NYC and my friends dragged me to see it. It was so gorgeous and everyone in it was beautiful, seriously. The scenes between Colin Firth and Matthew Goode made me ;~; so much though, god. Genuine, heartwrenching emotion. ♥

I am this odd mix of jumbled up thoughts when it comes to han geng, but I think the gist of it is that this whole lawsuit's stretched on for long enough that I was ... prepared, for lack of a better word, for him to go? I am still going to be heartbroken when it all goes ~official~, but as long as he's happy and healthy, it is all good.

Story version is not very story-full but still nice to look at! :D Especially in comparing the Oh!SNSD concept to the RDR!SNSD concept. Cute for the oppas v. fierce~
