Anyone who hasn't yet seen Inception, I don't know what's stopping you. Get on it! It's not a life-changing experience but it is a fan-fucking-tastic movie and Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in a suit. For the entire movie. Also, you know, the plot's pretty good. ;) And the rest of the ensemble cast is lovely. ETA: My caveat being that the movie is hardly perfect and has its problems, which I haven't really been dwelling on (other than initial fleeting thoughts) until brought up in Aja's post comments. I'd say: watch the movie, form your own opinions, and come back and talk/think about it some more!

I've somehow managed to see it three times already and I have to report that the second viewing is probably the best. Anyone who's paying attention is probably unsurprised by my unholy glee at the witty, snarky banter between Arthur and Eames. I am weak, all right?

I shouldn't be surprised that I wasn't the only one, either - and yet it wasn't until yesterday that I realized, oh dear god, Inception has a fandom already. Not just a main comm or a fic comm or an icon comm - we're down with the kinkmeme already: inception_kink.

I have, of course, started reading. I'm so predictable, you guys. Here's the first rec; delicious is open for the others, as always!

ooooh, good, the second viewing is so awesome because you can see how things tie together and all the foreshadowing/clues and so on. Also, you can anticipate and enjoy all the flirting (between everyone!). :D

ahhh organizing school/life stuff, making plans for going home a bit in August, etc. Mostly I've been working, hanging out with people for food & movies, and reading a lot of random fic in my spare time. Nothing super exciting. How've you been? Still at work?

yeah i love the second viewings of movies. :) and sometimes the third, since i'm slow and it takes me time to catch up to things. it's why i loved "lucky number slevin" so much - omg i felt like i noticed something new every time.

it's just that movie tickets are so expensive these days ;___; like, 4 dollars to commute to manhattan, and then another 14 (??) to watch the movie. that's practically 20 bucks right there ;__; /cheap...
