Crisis in Pakistan
Pakistan is in crisis as the worst disaster in a decade is devastating 20 million people across 70 per cent of the country. With two more weeks remaining in the Monsoon season the situation is expected to worsen in the coming days. The Pakistan Red Crescent Society has over 50,000 local volunteers working around the clock in affected communities. Over the past few weeks they have reached over 30,000 people with emergency supplies and medical assistance.
So I was thinking earlier this week that the disaster relief and aid for Haiti got a lot more widespread attention and promotion than those concerning Pakistan. I thought about why. Then I decided to stop over-analyzing things and just get off my ass (metaphorically...) and do something. So I donated money to the Red Cross.

I FIGURED OUT MY INCEPTION BIG BANG PLOT IDEA! \o/
This is the good that comes from a 13+ hour drive back to STL between killing a barrage of kamikaze butterflies. (I have never seen so many butterflies on a road trip, and definitely not so many quite so suicidal, wow.) Lots of thinking time! Now to outline and flesh out and make sure those 15K+ doesn't suck... Thank god I have a few months for this. I'll also have to tweak the summary but right now it's essentially this:
When an easy job goes wrong, Arthur and Eames wake up and discover that they can't be more than ten feet apart without suffering flashes of blinding pain. Worse, the distance they can stand to be apart is shrinking by the day, and that's to say nothing of the sudden irrepressible heat Arthur feels for Eames. The team assembles to investigate, which requires delving into Arthur and Eames's subconscious dreams. What's revealed there only leaves everyone with more questions and Arthur inclined to blame everything on Eames. They'll have to go deeper.
IT'S SO CHEESY, IT'S BRILLIANT. SHUSH. I HAVE IDEAS THAT ARE NOT OBVIOUS FROM THAT SUMMARY.
So for further inspiration, let's talk about how much I love Tom Hardy.

Q. Do those stereotypes sit on your shoulder while you’re doing the work? Do you always try to avoid the cliché?
Tom Hardy: Yes, of course they do and that comes down to survival of the fittest. If I turn in a shoddy performance I’m never going to work again, plus I look like a wanker. I’ve got a huge ego and very low self esteem so if someone thinks I’m shit at something it hurts [laughing]. I’ve read the IMDB board – Tom Hardy has wonky teeth and he’s shit. I try and keep tongue in cheek about it but it hurts. And there’s always a certain pride in getting the job done properly.
Well, what sits on my shoulders is me. It comes down to personal tastes and preference and I’m the quality control on it. Because I’m a jobbing actor, I have no control over where it’s going to go. The only thing I can do is wipe my arse, brush my teeth, turn up and do the best work I can. And I’m going to fail. That’s a given.

And I can't wait for your big bang :D If I'm not mistaken, there was a short fill on this topic on kinkmeme, wasn't it? But the spell simply wore off. I would loooooooove to read deeper explanation for this, such as by going into subconscious. Lovely idea!

Yes, I stole the prompt from the kinkmeme, haha. I originally meant to write a short fill for it but got totally distracted working out the dream/subconscious logistics of how it might be possible, and now it will hopefully work out in a longer fic. :D Of course, I will not really be working on it properly 'til after I move to my new apt. Omg I hate moving. T_T

Will check Wiki or IMDB for that movie soon. I've loved Chris Pine since his debut in Princess Diaries 2. And then in that movie with Lindsay Lohan (Just My Luck or something?). The last movie of him I watched was Star Trek (OMG, I love sci-fi movies *o*).
