Sarah! You are enthusiastic and excitable and we share many of the same biases, hohoho. Much excellent taste. (HANCHUL QMI CINHAE MINHO ♥ eta michul! qmichul!! someone should seriously write this) I did not expect to meet you or get to know you at all, but I am glad I did! You are young yet (omg I am old) but you show surprising maturity about a lot of things - a few things that have really struck me is how much your family matters to you and how you are able to have a sort of big-picture reasonableness about things that happen in life. I'm not sure if I had that at your age. Also, your ability to prioritize. :) ♥♥ Keep on going, you have a long and undoubtedly awesome future in front of you.

I think you are great because you are interested in so many things and your posts vary in all sorts of topics and they are ALL INTERESTING even if I have no idea what you're talking about. :D I like that you care/love your country bur are relentlessly self-critical too. I like (or is that the right word for it?) that we both have sort of a "romance is all nice and good for you if you want it but stop acting like something's wrong with me that I don't have it/aren't interested right now/aren't pursuing it relentlessly/don't give a fuck" mindset.

I basically love how much you value the good relationships in your life and don't get tangled up in stupid politics. Your relationship with your best friend, as you describe it, almost makes me wish I could have something like that - but more it's about you and how you choose to live and how I admire that and am glad you have something like that (people like that!) in your life. Because you deserve good things. You have been through some incredibly tough times and you've made it through them all. We have known each other for ages and ages now, haven't we? I never fail to smile or do a little internal yay dance when I see you around. :3 ♥

omg Andrea I don't know where to begin with you. You have SO MUCH SKILL in writing - you don't have to believe me but it's true. You're witty and engaging and compelling. You could publish your blog as a book and it would sell, no lie. (I've said this before!) I admire how strong you are and have been for your friends, your engagement with serious issues and care with them, your ability to push yourself to finish a whole novel. (With more to come!) You're different from I am in a lot of ways I really respect, admire, and envy - but you never come off as anything more than approachable and human. Please have a FANTASTIC time in Taiwan (and eat, eaaaat for meeee).

OH SAPPHY, w-inds.!! Now I have to go play this song and weep gently over how much I loved old!w-inds. and how fond I still am of them even if I...pay no attention to them anymore (except via Rii's updates and HER ADVENTURES WITH KEITA).

But I digress. You! Basically one of the things I love about you is that you are unpredictable and in good ways - you defy stereotypes, in brilliant ways! You game, you like horror movies, you fangirl pretty Asian boy bands, you enjoy trashy BL. You like shoujo manga but you like sports/shounen manga too! You enjoy immature jokes (the entirety of Jin comes to mind, lmao) but can hold thoughtful meta discussions about fandom. You are complex and diverse and that is something wonderful about you. I love how much you treasure your friends and college memories, too. It's always awesome to see people staying in touch.

ALSO, HOW WE HAVE KNOWN EACH OTHER FOR FOREVER NOW. And are still friends despite all the ridiculous fandoms we've been in/drifted from. :D

Hi youuu. It is strange to me that we have known each other a fairly short period of time (comparatively!) but it is so easy to be close! It is strange that it was so easy just within days of meeting you! Urgh I love your face and your Heechul love, firstly, because that is how I got to know you, haha. I love that you can slip between American English & Singlish! I like that you enjoy fandom without taking it too seriously, that you can multi-ship and enjoy yourself (ahaha Khuntoria!!), that you treasure your friends and take spontaneous trips and make memories, that you get angry and care about things even when people are stupid about them. You are smart and fun and already I feel so comfortable with you. I HOPE WE GET TO HANG OUT MORE IRL IN THE FUTURE. ♥

So, some of my favorite things about you that make you great: YOU WENT FROM PREMED TO LAW. I know you're not, like, the only person in history to do so, but it still boggles my mind, that you can do both and own both with the same kind of ferocity & intensity you generally just...attack life with. :D In a good way. Like you attack your drawing days haha. Your love of random Chinese music! I just really associate alan and Han Hong with you for some reason. Your attraction to kickass shounen but your indulgence in ridiculous BL too. I really admire your energy towards life - okay, to be fair, you are exhausted all the time AND YOU NEED TO SLEEP MORE but it's because you LIVE VERY INTENSELY. You are pro-active! You don't sit around wallowing and thinking too much. Although you need to take more do-nothing breaks, for real. ;)
