It's the end of an era. But, you know, as long as the fandom lives on, as long as H/D lives on, this is not the end for me.

I have so many feelings, and so many memories, and so much joy, and so much affection, but let's just leave it here:

Beaaaaaaach. :D

★ Hiatus begins today until after my bar exam (July 26 & 27). Have a happy Canada Day, a happy (U.S.) Independence Day, happy various birthdays, happy final HP, and generally have a happy July. ♥ See you in August!

Well, as long as it's the end, I might as well make a confession. I have never, ever, ever understood the 'chemistry' of H/D. I just. I don't see it.

haha there have been whole essays on the topic of H/D and why they "work" or why people ship them. For me, anyway, it is hard to condense to words: opposites attract, the fact that there is some good in Draco and some fallibility/potential to be "evil“/Slytherin in Harry (some form of redemption maybe??), rivalshipping, and... /shrug. I don't know! I used to ship Harry/Hermione and Draco/Hermione too. I just go with it. I don't need justification so much for liking what I like; it's often irrational/stemming from ~feelings~ anyway. :D

oh lucky!! The thing is that I don't know if I can even make it to the opening show/opening weekend because the timing is right before my bar exam and so, so bad. I will need to be cramming. I may not watch until after my exam, i.e., July 28, 29 or so. Kind of sad but...kind of important to pass the bar. /o\

lol I just learned about the rumors so I'm like WHATEVER, WHERE MIMI GOES I GO, END OF STORY. ♥♥

alskdfj it has been so long, hasn't it? I think I remember speculating at age 16 or so that I'd be 25 when the last movie finally came out and, well, close! Oh HP. Generation-defining, epic, but as long as I have fandom, even the end of canon won't mean a thing. (Though Pottermore to spur more fandom is only a good thing, heh.)

I want to be anticipating this movie so much becaus eit looks amazing, but I haven't anticipated anything HP related (except the fandom) since the 5th book.
