Getting a bit of a Little Red Riding Hood vibe off this concept and I like it.

Apparently the short hair is just a wig though, which makes me sad. She is seriously working it. I can't pull off sexy short hair to save my life, so I love it when others can. Damn, girl.

Now, re the teaser: Yoona looks classically beautiful as always, but lol all I could think of at the beginning was RARITY. GEMSTONES. Everyone looks pretty but not all of them ping my 'holy shit breathtaking' button. (I'm not gonna lie, I always hope Jessica will go back to blonde. /sigh)

The one who hit the gorgeous mark for me (aside from Sunny, of course) was Seohyun. Wow. That is the little magnae all grown up and beautiful. (Yonghwaaaaaaa, did your heart go oh shit? :D) She's worked that grown-up angle before, of course, but this is less overt sexiness and more classy maturity (with a matching gorgeous dress), which has an inherent sexiness of its own.

I have Thoughts about their halfhearted US debut plans though, some of which I've shared with sapphynashi. Let's just say I'm highly skeptical. But it does make me think about the Wonder Girls and wonder (ba dum tish) what they're up to and if they'll ever put out a new song again.

She is Lee Sunkyu/Sunny of Korean girl group SNSD. But that's not important. The important bit is that she is adorable and sexy and randomly really good at country tasks like...killing chickens...

haha yeah, Korean superstars are really popular guests on Korean TV shows, and Korean TV shows like to send people off on strange and random missions or games out of their regular environment for lulz. It helps people feel ~close~ to the idols, I guess. Also, it's hilarious. :D

mmmmmm okay, not so much a debut, but trying to break into the US music market with an English release, I guess. IDK, SM always strikes me as...not making very much effort with groundwork. But I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually want to tackle the US with a real debut, though even BoA (their best bet!) didn't meet much success.

Ahh, they always look fantastic but yeah... I think I like some kpop songs because I don't understand the lyrics, lol.

lkasfj well this song release is a worldwide English release, but I guess it's not a ~debut~ in that they're not going to try to come to the US just yet? IDK, IDK, stop half-assing things, SM. Even if you were to break into the market here and succeed, this is definitely not the way to do it.

Honestly, YG has the best chance of all of them, I think, and that's still not going to be mainstream.

Weirdly, it took me a while to work up to getting as into girl groups as I was into the boy groups - I enjoyed their songs but never paid much attention to the girls themselves. But these days they are so close to my heart. :D And Sunnyyyyyy. I love her!

You should watch the MV! The concept is a hot mess, imo, but Sunny is all sex - tiny and badass with short hair and killer heels and that red outfit. :D

But yeahhhh she also does the adorable cuteness too. As well as tough country chick who doesn't mind catching/killing chickens with her own hands. Blows my mind.
