i am watching canucks-kings side by side with my friend from van, she keeps randomly smiling and giggling to herself. then after burrows scored, later she tugged on my sleeve and pointed to her screen where it was showing his birth date on google. I was like what? And then she just smiled and said 'look! it's his birthday! he scored!! =D =D =D'

When I went home the game was still tied up but she texted me when the Kings scored and after the loss she texted to say she was having a 'calm freakout in the library'

it's hilarious because in reality she is an absolutely tiny 5'0" asian girl who is super mellow all the time and the last person you would expect to care about hockey (except everyone in vancouver cares apparently) so seeing her "get excited" is and was the greatest LOL of all

Haha yeah I agree, either them or caps vs bruins bc they're such a toss up and so intense. But yeah I finally saw pens vs flyers last night and it was really awkward bc my friends were just sitting there waiting for me so I was crossing my fingers that it wouldn't go to overtime.
