Who wants to talk about it? It's glorious and ridiculous and it's tempting me to write again, mostly because I need all the domestic BFF mothering hen/life exception stories about taking care of each other in different ways and being mutually dependent in not unhealthy but not quite healthy ways, and wordless understanding, AND ALSO UST AND OBLIVIOUSNESS.

I ship Makoto/Haruka, if it's not obvious. Yes, it's the dynamic that grabs me (surprise, surprise), but I would take more gratuitous crotch shots and shirtlessness and Rei/Nagisa antics and Gou (Kou!) and Ama-chan spouting nonsensical proverbs. And, whatever, Rin. He can show up and cause jealousy; he is my Sean Parker.

This is really my favorite dynamic. :D

hehehe you can literally just google "the swimming anime" and it will turn up all the relevant results. (The anime is called "Free!" which really...is impossible to search. Which is probably why they appended "Iwatobi Swim Club" to it, but really, "the swimming anime" is still the best bet lol.)

It is pure fanservice and hilariously great. The animation studio made a 30 sec ad a few months back and tumblr went nuts thinking it was a real anime that was going to be made and started assigning nameless characters personalities and ships and it was a huge fuss when it turned out the ad was supposedly all that existed (as an ad for the animation studio). But then the anime was actually made! And so far there's been four eps and it's been super fun. :D So it'd be easy to catch up on!
