That was not the HIMYM finale I wanted! Basically every fan theory was right and not in a good way. Those were not the theories I wanted to be true. /surly But I will do as Marshall did and focus on the positives: Ted/Mother were always lovely and sweet and adorable, and actually looked a fun, healthy, loving relationship. And Lily & Marshall were great.

Also this finale may annoy me slightly less than the Friends one did, because of how much more annoyed I was at how the writers forced Ross/Rachel. Then again, everyone else had decent endings, so on the whole there was an equal amount of annoying relationship shoehorning by the writers, plus regression of character development from HIMYM. So maybe they win the competition of which finale annoys me more.

WHATEVER. MOVING ON.


In unrelated fandom news, a definitive online Which Teen Wolf Character Are You quiz pinned me as Isaac, unsurprisingly, because I am made of nothing but feelings.

I didn't watch 3B at all, but I heard mostly good things about it till the finale, which I am firmly spoiled for, so maybe I'll give it a shot. I am terrible at watching things though; maybe I will return to attempting to read Agatha Christie novels.

We're almost at the playoffs! Canes have like a 0.1% chance, but go Blues! And I am tentatively happy about Liverpool. :D Tentative only, because sports is the crusher of hopes and dreams, as we all know.

ISAAAAAC, I remember he was totally the character I was most invested in for a while there, just because he and his issues pinged all of my feels. 3B winds up as a hot mess in more ways than one -- it tries to play with too many plot threads without writing any of them particularly well, really -- but bits of it are worth watching just for the Yukimura family, and the fact that the show actually deals with stuff like the Japanese internment camps, and mixed-race Asian families, and whatnot. But mostly, Yukimuraaaaas.

... Unsurprisingly, that quiz pinged me as Allison. Because of course it did. (Where, I ask, is my adorkable Tyler Posey werewolf with the awesome abs, huh?)

I mostly remember that Isaac had a really whiplash-inducing personality transplant between S2 and S3A...or maybe I just have memory gaps, hah. I am fond of him though, and he and Allison were cute. ;~; Cuter in RL but that didn't last either. Such is life.

I'd still like to think I'll get around to 3B but, seriously, so terrible at watching things.

And of course you are Allison Argent. Ugh, she's always been so great. She deserved more.
