Gou continues to be the GREATEST THING EVER with her shameless love for muscles. Girl, I feel you. You should see me during this World Cup.
Nagisa is A FLUFFY BUNNY QT PIE. Fandom has this tendency of making him have an evil streak?? But even though he likes to tease his friends, in canon he's actually quite straightforwardly a sunny, sweet, excitable person.
REI, OH REI. How could you not have learned by now to always be prepared and have your jammers on hand?
Haru excited by that video of Iwatobi-chan nearly killed me. His continued blasé attitude towards racing but piercing desire to swim remains the same. I want to roll him up in fish and let him be a mermaid forever.
MAKOTO CUDDLES STRAY CATS, NOOO, STOP. I STILL CANNOT AND WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO DEAL WITH MAKOTO. His charm is his back muscles! And his red-tipped ears! His determination to push forward for the team, to recruit new members; his faith in Gou's plan! And his endless friendship and patience and fondness for all the weird people he's surrounded by. So Sousuke/Rin is apparently a huge thing now despite us know maybe 0.5% about the former, lol. BUT I SENSE BACKSTORY. Intriguing, nonetheless. I hate it less than Rin/Nitori at least, but that's because I like the Sousuke archetype more. Really, I don't care much about the shipping (although, you know) but I would kind of love a ridiculous AU based off the ending credits.
Season 1 gave us desert prince AU! Now we have modern AU jobs! FRAZZLED FIREMAN MAKOTO RESCUING KITTENS. ASTROKID NAGISA. MAD SCIENTIST REI. HOT COP DUO RIN & SOUSUKE. DON'T FORGET: PART TIME MERMAID, PART TIME CHEF HARU. I mean, what. This canon is ridiculous. I forget how much it entertains me when the fandom can be so hateful and wanky. No more wank for me! Just cute fanart and absurd antics, please!

And how they all did backflips and explained their special charm as excitedly as they could make themselves, all because Gou told them it would help to find new members, alskdjf;asdkfjas;kldjfs they trust and love her so much...
I took the ending to be a glimpse of the future where they all work these jobs and Haru and Makoto eat lunch together every day and then once a week everyone (except Nagisa when he's in space, obviously) comes over to Haru's restaurant and they have a nice meal together. (And this one time when Haru's restaurant has a fire, Makoto comes and carries a fainting Haru out of the building...hehehe). What a lovely headcanon. :DDD
