ready for this boat party

Today I bought groceries and filed my taxes. Woo, #adulting! Ready for this show, ready to cook and spend some quality time with myself (bookended by dinners with good friends ♥).

With Fresh Off the Boat pushing boundaries of Asian stereotypes, here's a tiny 5-year-old Chinese-American piano prodigy who likes math and lives the stereotype: Ryan Wang on the Ellen show. He is too cute, and so well spoken, and damn talented.

My plan for the immediate future is: see friends, see family, squeeze in a few hockey games before Houston, and once that Moving Day gets a little closer, buckle down and really start planning the ins and outs of it. To do lists everywhere! It's how I live.

In my downtime, this is what's kept me entertained: Elementary has been absolutely wonderful in giving me feels, haters to the left. I love everyone, and Kitty, and I am both so happy and so sad at the conclusion of her arc. (Done so well!) MasterChef Junior S3 is less cute than S2, but still entertaining. Still continuing Abnormal Summit though on a slower pace (RL interferes!) but I'm really glad new subbers have picked up the show past episode 19. And the occasional Running Man remains delightful; I can't believe that show's been on for four-plus years now.

Still vaguely interested in Return of Superman (because adorable toddlers and their dads!) but another time-suck is the last thing I need. Also this Dugeun Duguen India show, which I just heard about today due to the production team fuck-up and stereotyping of India, sounds interesting only for the Kyuline cast (Kyuhyun, Minho, Changmin). Speaking of Kyu, I should go see if SJM Guest House has been subbed...

Haha, what is free time? I am still reading some fic and a super interesting book on typographical and punctuation marks called Shady Characters too!

Nobody talk to me about sports. It's all miserable. D:
