maybe you're not the worst thing ever
Things I did this weekend: rewatched Fresh Off the Boat while catching up ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
intomorning and the Boyfriend, both of whom had missed the live premiere. It remains charming and funny and relatable, and I am happy with the show itself as well as the mostly positive response. Constance Wu is a dream as the mom, and I am looking forward to new episodes this Tuesday!
I also watched all of Galavant! Which I had heard of in passing without realizing what it was, finally took the time to look it up, and it's fairy-tale themed comedy musical? WHAT? This is everything I love, and it proved to be an utter delight. Funny, witty, bawdy, sweet, great musical numbers (the opening song may be stuck in my head), and bonus diversity! King Richard is hilarious, Madalena may be the best villain ever (HBIC, this lady), and Isabella and Galavant's interactions were terrifically fiery and filled with UST. The subplots were fun, the guest stars were fun, the whole damn thing is fun, and I hope wildly for a Season 2. Possibly also for fic, my god.
Still need to catch up on last week's Elementary, but did get back into Abnormal Summit wherein episode 17 gave me an absolutely dreamy Alberto in a suit, and episode 18 gave me the first instance where I vehemently disagreed with him. It was also, um, interesting to hear Enes' defense of family and marriage knowing what we know now of his scandal.
Sports is meh, work is meh. I am reading! I'll update when I finish some stuff.
