here is the deposit: it is my heart
There are three celebs in whom I have an overinvestment of feelings regarding how their lives and careers go and in the maintenance of their being if not excellent at least fundamentally good people who are worthy of said investment of feelings. They are as follow, in order of how long they've had my heart:
1. Zhou Mi/周觅/觅宝 ♥♥♥
I stanned for him pre-debut, fought the awful Only 13, have adored his ridiculously flaily self forever, and bought six copies of his solo album when it finally came out. BOY, I'm here for you and your eternal happiness, and your China line (best), and your boyfriends (Danson and JJ Lin both, and sure, Qmi until I die), and everything should come up roses and sunshine for you. One tiny thing: if you could consider a duet with Kyuhyun at some point before I die... and while I'm making these wishes, could that duet be in Chinese? I've only wanted this for six going on seven years now!
2. Tom Hardy. OH MY T-HARD. Here's a conversation I had with the Boy that I shared on Twitter a few weeks ago:
BF: I'm really excited to watch Mad Max: Fury Road!
Me: TOM HARDYYY
BF: Oh, is he in it? I didn't know that. That'll be interesting. He was good as Bane but I don't know if he can pull this -
Me: *interrupts with long monologue on Tom Hardy's filmography and life*
BF: I was unprepared for this.
Also, I will never be able to watch Stuart: A Life Backwards again because I had to stop at the sandwich scene and sob for about 30 minutes straight, and then had a miserable dehydration headache the rest of the day, and could only finish the next day. I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS, OKAY.
BUT. I am so excited for his new movie, Legend, out this September! He's playing twin crime bosses! Being thuggish in suits? This is tailor made for T-Hard to excel in. Plus, double the Tom Hardy, double the fun. (And Taron Egerton is playing his ~*~lover~*~).
3. JESSE EISENBERG my baby my heart my precious. Andrew Garfield was right when he said Jesse just has a face that engenders a well of joy (that springs up from his soul).
So! Jesse's doing a play off Broadway now, The Spoils, which he wrote and is starring in. He has American Ultra with Kristen Stewart coming out in August, which I'm kind of excited about, because aww reunion! (You know who else you could have a movie reunion with, Jesse? /cough). Then next year has Batman v Superman, which, yes, I am going to see solely for him as Lex Luthor, and also Now You See Me 2, which has the most glorious cast of all time. *__* Daniel Radcliffe, Jay Chou, Dave (Superior) Franco, Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman -- yes, this is a movie I will need ALL the behind the scenes for.
His media rounds continue to be delightful because I love his weird, dry, self-deprecating humor.
