it does not say RSVP on the Statue of Liberty

HAPPY 20TH ANNIVERSARY, CLUELESS. This movie is still so great and I will probably rewatch it this weekend. Strange how it remains timeless in its special way. The peak of Paul Rudd's career as far as I'm concerned (with a minor allowance for him being pretty okay as Mike in Friends.)

In other news, not enjoying Soshi's Party (so generic...) but SJ's Devil is catchy and fun and the old-man style and dance is glorious. Embrace your old age, Suju. (Donghae remains hot stuff. Heechul's continued irreverence brings me joy.)

I just watched it again with my sister a few weeks ago and it was still as great as I remembered, almost *more* charming and sweet to watch as an adult haha.

I love that, at heart, the movie is still so optimistic and simply about being true to yourself and good to your friends/family. It's silly and lighthearted, but it really is just so charming and sweet.

I dunno, I love classic Soshi's Gee and Oh!, stuff that was very catchy and cute, but Party doesn't even hit the threshold level of interesting for me, for some reason. I enjoy Catch Me If You Can more, and that's definitely not to everyone's tastes since it's much more EDM and I get that. (It helps that I like the choreo a lot more for that too.) Ah well, they're sweeping the awards so they're doing well and making it w/o Jessica. Although the simultaneous promotion of SNSD & SuJu is weird for me. I know SNSD is SM's big moneymaker (along w/ EXO) right now so I expect them to win, but SuJu, given a different promo schedule, would probably take in an award or two if SM wanted to extend their streak. Who knows? I don't know most of the bands out there even competing for wins anymore haha.

haha I just think about how Big Bang technically still hasn't finished their MADE comeback. The promotional tactics of all these companies is really getting more and more ridiculous.
