27. june for a breath of fresh air
Six months later, I've finally settled on a layout that I can be happy with. I'd like to start posting here again, I think; it would be ideal to start consolidating some of my internet presence, which I've sort of scattered across the internet like God throwing stars across the universe. (Unless we want to argue He meticulously placed each one individually with a grave and mysterious purpose in which case my analogy fails because however deliberately He might work, my internet presence has been much more haphazard. It sprawls and continues spawning itself like...an unflattering biological or chemical analogy, so I'm going to quit talking now.)
I'm tired. I need to start committing to naps if I keep sleeping past midnight but keep waking up before eight. Did you know recent studies have reported that kids who are sleep-deprived tend more toward depression? I don't see how this is a new or shocking revelation, considering what scientists have already known about sleep: that it is kind of vitally necessary (is that redundant?) and the closest thing our bodies have to a catch-all in terms of boosting and maintaining health, mentally and physically.
But I'm in law school, not med school, so I'm going to stop talking like I really know what's going on and instead just go get some of this awesome sleep stuff.
...my active vocabulary honestly dismays me sometimes.
