I'm crying a little bit with joy because the 20071117 MKMF Awards brought the best out of my Kpop fandoms. Seriously. Big Bang and Super Junior love. I don't need nobody else. ♥

Big Bang won:
- Best Male Group
- Best Song of the Year (Lies)

Super Junior won:
- Auction Netizen's Choice Award
- Mobile Choice award (Don't Don)
- Artist of the Year

Then SuJu proceeded to reduce me to tears with their thank yous (TEUKIE, DONGHAE, FAVORITE FAVORITES OMFG, CRYING) and then I watched the Big Bang Lies perf with an orchestra and proceeded to be completely blown away. I am so proud of these boys. Oh BB, Ilusm. Dynamic entry, GD, with an outfit that's just sexy. And the mini-waltz? Oh boys, so classy, so much love.

And SuJu's "Galjeung" performance? Let's talk about hot. The outfits could use a little improvement but alkdjld OH MY FUCKING GOD THEY PERFORMED GALJEUNG--REMIX VERSION. Hottest song ever. Hot hot hot Hae and Teukie and Kibum and Sungmin and I love them all to pieces. Hankyung even performed. Kyuhyun danced! Fangirls screamed their hearts out for Siwon & Kangin. I love it. (Also you can see Big Bang in the audience~ ♥)

I love my Kpop boy bands, I do. The fandoms may drive me nuts, but the boys and their music? Lovelovelove. I am so happy to be both a Big Bang and SuJu fan because they cleaned the place up with their awards and I'm so happy and so proud and alkdjfld. God.

*stare* their Galjeung outfits are a very bizarre mix of schoolboy and safari explorer. I don't understand. The song's pretty good though and there were some awesome dance moves, as always. I really thought they were doing step at first.

I wonder if the orchestra had a hard time reading their music in those masks.

"Safari explorer" still makes me laugh. THAT'S HOT. Clearly the look they should all strive for.

Poor orchestra. Still, it was such a cool performance. Not that I'm biased in any way.

Hey, early Safari explorers were hot, b/c they were cool and European. Extremely condescending to the natives, but still hot. Until they caught malaria and died.

The look works okay, but they all still match too much. I think maybe the were trying to emphasize the togetherness of their supermassive band (they are the supernovas of boy bands, ever expanding until they reach critical mass? idk)

Yes, I figure the malaria and subsequent death would make safari explorers less attractive.

Also, Wonder Girls would definitely have on weirder outfits than both Big Bang and Super Junior, so I would be justified in my D: at their performance. I'm pretty sure they couldn't be awesome with an orchestra the way BB was. ♥

I think it'd be easier to ship Suju b/c there are so many of them, which makes it less personal. Slashing together people when there are only 5 of them is a bit more personal.

I'm not really into shipping 3D fandoms anyhow...

Let me share my thoughts on ~~yaoi~~ RPS...

I can't do it. It weirds me out. AND YET, you might say, WHAT IS THIS KANGTEUK YOU KEEP GOING ON ABOUT. Yes, yes, I know. It's somehow the exception. Except not really. I tend to think of SuJu as characters, not people, because there are so many of them and they all have such deliberate stage personalities. Plus, there is the illusion of "knowing" them which is so totally not true. :( But I ship KangTeuk 'cause they're cute. When they're SuJu characters.

If I think about them as real people, I think they need to be cute and awkward and adorable with girls who will make them happy b/c silly boys with girlfriends is just too sweet for words. I'd date them. :D

I'm totally unsurprised that it won Song of the Year, because it has been everywhere since it's release. But Big Bang has a new album coming out this month with new promos, which I'm also really excited about! \o/

I don't blame you for not finding SuJu particularly hot in that performance. I only found it hot b/c I already find the boys hot, haha. If you want hot, you should start...um...god, I fail at pimping SuJu. There is just too many boys, too many videos and clips and performances and pictures. aldkfld. Haha, you know me too well. ;D The Big Bang performance amused me so when they started dancing with the girls and then T.O.P appeared out of nowhere. :P

I love Big Bang and I love the idea of their waltz, but honestly the girls did not do that much for me. They were cute when they marched out with masks and fans but overwall they were kind of a mess of choreography that did not really contribute to the perf. :/

Btw! I've started reading a few JaeHo fics. Do you have any particularly fantastic ones you'd like to rec? Actually, hold that thought. I'm going to make a fic rec post in a day or two and I actually wanna collect links in that post, haha. ♥

I have to say, I don't read that many Jaeho fanfics because they tend not to have very good English... There are some exceptional ones though, so I'll rec them in your rec post. ^^
