Leeteuk doesn’t like to admit it but he knows he plays favorites sometimes. There’s Kangin, of course, because there will always be Kangin – they’ve known each other forever and Leeteuk can’t help it. What Leeteuk doesn’t talk really talk about (and what other people don’t really know) is how much he loves Donghae because of the way Donghae calls him repeatedly, homesick and needing reassurance (no one else will do), or the way he will wake Leeteuk at four in the morning just to say, “Hyung, I missed you,” and the way he’s moved so easily to tears when he finally hugs Leeteuk after two months away. Leeteuk loves the way Donghae makes him feel needed and wanted. He loves the way Donghae makes him feel, above all, special.

When Ryoma says, flatly, "It's me or the cacti, Syuusuke," Fuji looks at him reproachfully, because how can he be asked to make a decision like that? Ryoma glares at him and says, voice even colder than before, "It shouldn't be a hard decision," before his lip curls up in a smirk and he's tugging the collar of his shirt open so Fuji can just glimpse the bare collarbone underneath. Fuji licks his lips and smiles and agrees that, no, it's really not such a hard decision.
