WHY DOES NO ONE TAKE ME SERIOUSLY T_T
Leeteuk doesn’t like to admit it but he knows he plays favorites sometimes. There’s Kangin, of course, because there will always be Kangin – they’ve known each other forever and Leeteuk can’t help it. What Leeteuk doesn’t talk really talk about (and what other people don’t really know) is how much he loves Donghae because of the way Donghae calls him repeatedly, homesick and needing reassurance (no one else will do), or the way he will wake Leeteuk at four in the morning just to say, “Hyung, I missed you,” and the way he’s moved so easily to tears when he finally hugs Leeteuk after two months away. Leeteuk loves the way Donghae makes him feel needed and wanted. He loves the way Donghae makes him feel, above all, special.

Everyone knows Donghae is lying through his teeth (or just lying to himself) when he says he doesn't like skinship, because he hangs over everyone, but most of them don't mind because they all like Donghae to hang over them; Kibum, however, minds - not that Donghae hangs over him, but that Donghae hangs over everyone else, and sometimes his glare is enough to have Siwon, still smiling, carefully remove Donghae's arm from around his shoulders, or to have Kyuhyun, a little nervously, inch a little closer to Sungmin and a little farther from Donghae.
Donghae doesn't really notice when Kibum is being possessive like that because he is too distracted from the people edging way from by the way Kibum will pull him close and mouth obscene promises into his neck, his jaw, his mouth, leaving Donghae flushed and excited.
