Leeteuk doesn’t like to admit it but he knows he plays favorites sometimes. There’s Kangin, of course, because there will always be Kangin – they’ve known each other forever and Leeteuk can’t help it. What Leeteuk doesn’t talk really talk about (and what other people don’t really know) is how much he loves Donghae because of the way Donghae calls him repeatedly, homesick and needing reassurance (no one else will do), or the way he will wake Leeteuk at four in the morning just to say, “Hyung, I missed you,” and the way he’s moved so easily to tears when he finally hugs Leeteuk after two months away. Leeteuk loves the way Donghae makes him feel needed and wanted. He loves the way Donghae makes him feel, above all, special.

oh dear. i think you pretty much hit the spot with this one. 8] while the lack of hyukhae lately saddens me very much, i am only somewhat appeased because of the surge of eunmin lately. haeeee... kyu... come back and take your respective lovers back! because as much as i love eunmin, eunhae and kyumin are still number 1 and 2 in my heart.
