SuJu and Star Trek in one post!

Waahh, I love how I saw the official MV release show up on my flist yesterday, but had to run to dinner and Star Trek (which I'll get to in a bit), and when I come home hours later, my entire flist is full of post after post about the It's You MV... Oh flist. :)

So I watched it the leaked version (as opposed to the official version) and alksjdfkd oh SJ, just when I think I can move on from you guys, you remind me why you are awesome.

So here's a Chronicle of Mei's Reactions while Watching the MV:

MEI: Who is wearing that god-fugly shirt?
CAMERA: *pans up to longish girly hair*
MEI: Oh, it must be Heechul, that explains so much. I have never understood his fashion sense.
KIBUM: Why hello. Let me look pensively into the camera, almost as if I am practicing my ~drama face~.
MEI: OH MY GOD KIBUM!! I'VE ALMOST FORGOTTEN WHAT YOU LOOKED LIKE! I will forgive you your ugly shirt and hair because you're alive! I can forgive a lot of things for people being alive...

MEI: *gut reaction of long dreamy sigh and fangirling* Oh Donghae, you are beautiful, you are lovely, I am so enamored with you and your sweet voice, you are a prince, you are -- wearing a janitorial jumpsuit? WTF.

IN CONCLUSION:

I love this MV. I was so afraid I'd hate it from the leaked pics I saw, because there was a lot of GIANT GROUP STANDING AROUND reminding me of Marry U. ;_; Which I hated. But this was an excellent, beautiful MV. It reminds me of the classics of '90s U.S. boy bands, or Shinhwa or something. Dark lighting and streets and hideous jumpsuits. :D

It doesn't hurt that I adore this song.

So yeah. I need an HQ version! /goes hunting

ETA: So leaked v. official. I liked the leaked better. But I will collect both versions! And my comments stand for pretty much both, though there is no Yehyuk drug deal in the official version, no Wookie throwing flowers, and NO HANNIE ANGSTING SCENES. T__T And too much Edward-Cullen-esque sparkling. Actually, I'm just going to pretend the leaked version is the official one. :| Fuck you, SM.


In other news: I saw Star Trek last night AND IT WAS AWESOME. AND EPIC. AND I HAD NO IDEA I COULD LIKE STAR TREK SO MUCH. Also apparently there were a lot of tribute to the original series, not that I spotted them because I'm not only not a Trekkie, I also fail at general pop culture. Still. The movie was very, very good. It definitely lived up to all the hype and expectations, unlike, say, Watchmen, which was a painfully awful 2.75 hours of my life.

Star Trek, on the other hand, was *__*. And I can see what sapphira_angel was saying about understanding how slash (fanfiction) might have originated with Kirk/Spock. Damn.
