15. setting the stage for success

This is going to be my official NaNoWriMo writing journal once November hits. No guarantees that I will be posting every day (though here's hoping that I manage to write every day), but more likely than my story will go here, under cut. (I wish I knew how to turn on default comment pages, damn.)

Countdown until NaNoWriMo: 1.

I'm going to finish my Note today, come hell or high water, because tomorrow I need to start writing for Nano. I also have a few other things in my system I need to write out. And, you know, do readings for school and such.

Until tomorrow though, have this scene. It was going to be the beginning of a QMi wingfic, which I decided wasn't going to happen. Not that way, in any case. So this will likely be all that's ever going to be from that idea.

NaNoWriMo 2009

Since I'm totally batshit insane (you know it), I will be attempting NaNoWriMo this year, starting tomorrow, with an original story.

Tentatively planned:

Clarence K. Fisher, Teacher and Secret Agent Man
In which middle school U.S. history is taught but not learned, "Mr. Fisher" is still preferable to "Clare", and no one swears (much) because this is a sanitized, child-safe memoir.

I'll be posting what I write to meitachi. Feel free to follow, if you'd like! I guess we'll see if I fail. Or if the story goes in a completely different direction, haha.
